Wu Jingyun saw Xuanzi, who was returning from the northern palace which only royals could enter. He found it strange because in a week he saw the Second Prince three times visiting that place. Hardly others from the royal family would be used to go there.
"What happened? Why did you stop?" asked Hu Fei, who had walked meters away from Wu Jingyun. He had a large box in his hand which Eunuch Lianying was supposed to deliver to the Crown Prince's chamber.
"Give me a hand. It is quite heavy," Hu Fei then urged him.
Wu Jingyun walked up to him and held the box from one side. "You should have let the servants bring it," Wu Jingyun told Hu Fei.
"It possesses some important documents for the Crown Prince and wasn't supposed to be delivered by the servants," Hu Fei replied. They slowly walked through the corridor to reach the Crown Prince's manor.
They saw Xiana coming from the front with a court lady and a maidservant.
