In the evening, Licheng headed to see Wu Jingyun. He asked the servant to bring tea for them. Li Shiyi and Hu Fei were present there, but Licheng requested them to give him a private moment with Wu Jingyun.
"Can we be with the Crown Princess?" Hu Fei asked Licheng.
"Xiana is gone to Mother's manor," Licheng replied.
Hu Fei exchanged glances with Li Shiyi and both turned to leave when Wu Jingyun told Licheng they did not need to converse in private. He asked Hu Fei and Li Shiyi to stay in the room. They both took seats around the table and waited for the tea. Once the maidservant served tea to them, they waited for Licheng to initiate the conversation.
"What happened to your hand?" Licheng asked while gazing at Wu Jingyun's hand wrapped in the handkerchief. "Isn't this of Su Ning?" he inquired, knitting his brows together.
"He was vigorously shooting the arrows to calm himself," Li Shiyi replied, bringing the teacup close to his mouth.
