Licheng changed into another outfit and heard from Eunuch Jize Master Tao was with the Emperor. Licheng left for the main palace hall, wondering what they would have talked about.
The palace servant opened the doors of the main hall and let Licheng walk in. He got the sight of his father, Master Tao, and Shen Daoren. He bowed to his father and then Master Tao. Shen Daoren had stood up from his place and wondered if Licheng brought Xiana back.
"What happened between the Crown Prince and Princess Xiana that they both went out of the palace?" Emperor Zhenji asked.
"She got upset suddenly," Licheng replied and gazed at Master Tao.
His attention was drawn to his father, who told him if he would like to tell him which demon he had to fight. Licheng did not expect in his absence, Master Tao would tell his father about the things he wanted to keep hidden.
"I know the things which my son failed to tell me," Emperor Zhenji further stated.
