Eunuch Jize left the room as he realized both Licheng and Xiana needed some alone time together. As the bedchamber door closed, Licheng left the bed and went toward Xiana.
"I saw how you made such a big promise to me about loving me in your every life. You liked red and you looked human," Xiana proclaimed.
"So, what do you want?" Licheng asked her.
"I want you to live in the present. I want you to love again. You should take responsibility for what you did, Licheng. You told me it was some sort of destiny that we met each other. Then, let's fulfill it together," Xiana asserted.
