"What did Brother Licheng say?" Yuan asked with a slight smirk. Eunuch Jize was puzzled too and waited for Licheng to respond.
"Brother Licheng should not lie. I clearly hear with my own two ears how he said he would never marry Xiana. He should support his younger brother instead of lying to him," Yuan remarked.
"Her Majesty will never allow Princess Xiana to marry Prince Yuan," Eunuch Jize asserted.
"Yes. Mother will not allow for it," Licheng agreed with Jize's words.
"I can make her understand," Yuan stated. "Please help me, Brother Licheng," he requested again.
Licheng had never been into such a strange dilemma. "Yuan, you should ask Xiana herself. Since you have finished the tea, so you should leave," he politely said.
