Ji Anning slowly approached them and saw Licheng holding Xiana's wrist. She did not let the anger show on her face.
"Why did Eunuch Jize let unknown people step into my manor?" Licheng questioned and let go of Xiana's wrist. Ji Anning stopped at her place upon hearing the Crown Prince's remark.
"Your Royal Highness, Her Majesty the Empress asked me to bring Miss Ji here," Eunuch Jize clarified and lowered his gaze.
"It has been seven years since I last saw the Crown Prince," Ji Anning said and greeted Licheng first, and later, Yuan. Xiana wondered what Licheng wanted her to do. Was he expecting her to come between him and Ji Anning? That would create a mess and she did not want it to happen.
"Please leave, Miss Ji. I have nothing to converse with you," Licheng said.
