Licheng brought Xiana to the place which is a little away from the main market while he ordered Zhang Fei to return to the carriage and wait for their return.
"Why did you bring me into this garden of trees?" Xiana asked as she found themselves surrounded by several trees. Because of the hanging lanterns from one tree to the other, the visibility was normal. Her eyes landed on the pond and a huge tree beside that.
On that tree, Xiana found numerous red threads tied from its trunk. She asked Licheng about it, who held her hand and took her to the three.
"It's called 'Qingyuan Tree', a tree of love and fidelity," Licheng told her. Xiana immediately recalled the folklore about that tree where a couple would vow to have eternal love and tie a red thread around it. She spoke about the same to Licheng, who nodded at her.
