Licheng hopped down the horse and extended his hand out for Xiana. She ignored his hand and got down on her own.
"My entire body is aching," Wu Jingyun said as they finally reached the palace. "Now, I need a good rest to recuperate my lost energy," he remarked and gazed at Licheng, who got ignored by Xiana.
"Wu Jingyun, thank you for accompanying us. I will see you later," Licheng said and walked ahead. He decided to first meet his father and mother since they must be worried for him.
Upon reaching the private room, Licheng greeted his father and mother, who were delighted to see him after three days. "Though the Crown Prince was away from us for only four days, we both were worried for him and the Crown Princess," Emperor Zhenji asserted.
"The place was once the ground for the Gods. No evil force can set foot there," Licheng told them. "Was everything alright in my absence?" he questioned.
