Xiana contemplated for a minute before preparing her response. "Are you sure, Licheng? Do you really want me to leave? I truly want to help you. It's not wrong to help a human. What's the use of the powers that I possess if I cannot help the good people here?" For her, Licheng's final answer mattered a lot.
"A Goddess shouldn't care about all this. You have already helped me a lot. You possess powers not to help humans. You also know this well," Licheng stated.
Xiana pursed her lips together and lowered her gaze. Licheng asked her not to be upset anymore.
"I am not upset," Xiana lifted her head and looked into his eyes. "I am wondering if you'll survive without me," she proclaimed.
Licheng chuckled upon hearing her response. "I have been doing well even before you landed here," he said.
