From the year 1993 one man was born to a pair of the most inhumane beings that ever walked the earth. his name was Jack, he was never allowed to use the same last name as his parents nor was he allowed or wanted to call them mom and dad.
Their names were Jared and Ivanka they were scum of the society, Jared was a drug dealer, rapist, bisexual thug who constantly broke jack and Ivanka's bones and bruised them severely. Ivanka did nothing to stop it as she was an addict and a hooker they met when they were at their highest thus letting jack be born without any medical problems such as STDs and addictions but it all went down from there at seven Jared proceeded to rape jack from time to time while both Jared and Ivanka forced jack into child labor.
when Jared raped jack he would constantly berating him and beating on him. Ivanka did nothing as she thought it was better jack then her, because every time she got an injury from Jared it would cause her to lose potential money she got from whoring herself out.
Jack never really had a childhood and had to roll with whatever punches both life and Jared threw at him. Jack wasn't bi and he wasn't homosexual so being under Jared caused him extreme depression and stress not to mention the trauma it caused. Jack's life wasn't all bad by the time he was allowed to leave the house unobserved he discovered one of his refuges and joys in life... a manga cafe.
The owner was a kind old man who had seen many things in the years of his life and when he laid eyes on jack he could tell that jack was suffering, in a attempt to show jack some of the light in life he let jack stay at the manga cafe from time to time for free, recommending a manga to jack before giving jack some space the old man went back to man the counter.
jack was puzzled he had never known kindness so the old man made him kinda wary but as he looked down to the manga in his hand he was quickly for gotten as jack started reading the first volume of one piece falling in love with the characters and magical abilities they showed.
Over the years jack read more and more manga, and the old man slowly introduced him to anime which stunned jack speechless as he saw his favorite characters came to life on the screen.
Jack kept working for his parents although unwilling but Jared quickly changed that the only bright side is jack had to learn to read for several odd jobs which is what enabled him to read manga. but as the years went by the old man looking more and more frail wanted to free jack from his dark life style.
The old man's name was Castor and he came to see jack as another son of his, it took him awhile but eventually got closer to jack when jack was fourteen. the tourment he heard from the boy was unreal evil and despicable. He charged to Jack's house one day as he wanted to request them to release jack into his custody even if he had to pay money for it.
They didn't want money, they were furious when they found out that their slave had a cove in the storm. that's exactly how they saw jack, as nothing more then a slave not as their son and certainly not as a born and bred human being. Jared was especially raging as he slammed his furniture until he got a club big enough to beat down castor with. he proceeded to knock castor out and didn't stop there he kept hitting him causing jack to run for help or the police... but it was already too late castor was dead.
Jared finally crossed the line to murderer and was convicted, Ivanka disappeared after that to who knows where until her body turned up in a dump. jack was shattered over it the old man left a android phone to jack in his will while his family got the cafe that brought such great memories to jack and demolished it. left with only the phone jack discovered mobile games and pirated manga on the web. but everything wasn't all clear skies.
At the age of eightteen Jared's former bosses found him preventing him from any further jobs slowly starving him to death. as jack laid shivering and starving in a dark alley Jared read his last volume of one piece ending just after Luffy landed at Vega punk's lab after the big reveal of luffy's fruit. as he breathed his last he envisioned Robin someone who suffered like he did but found salvation. he imagined what it would be like to have a sister and... froze.
Police were later called for a frozen dead body but jack never knew any of this as he started his journey of reincarnation.
"w-where is this?" Jack muttered as he found himself in a field of white with nothing for miles and miles.
"The afterlife... or better yet the start of the life you truly desire instead of the torment you suffered" said a gentle voice as a slim figure dressed in white appeared almost blending with the surroundings, the voice was neither male nor female but an amalgamation of the two and the figure couldn't be seen clearly almost fading into the field of white.
"you will reincarnate with your memories intact as retribution for being born to such monsters, born to the place of your dreams but beware you will be in danger so you be granted a standard system. use it wisely as it will be your only ally from the beginning" said the voice as it started fading.
"W-what? w-wait hold on!?" jack stuttered as he began to panic.
"fairwell... and may we meet again" the voice said as it disappeared and everything faded to black.
