Mar-Dule felt his heart speed up.
Hua-Yin was extremely beautiful, so having her so close was too much for Mar-Dule. He could even feel two soft watermelons pressed up against his chest.
Before Mar-Dule could get a nosebleed, he unfurled Hua-Yin's hands from around his neck and gently held her shoulders to keep her at a distance.
"I don't know. I get the feeling that you aren't genuine. I'm also sure I'm not your first option for a cultivation partner as you claim."
Hua-Yin frowned when she heard that, but then realization appeared on her face.
She smiled a teasing smile and asked.
"Are you talking about that time when I was bringing your friend into the Dual Pavilion venue? Are you jealous that I might have preferred him over you?"
Mar-Dule remained silent before saying.
"Sol's my best friend and even though it doesn't change things between us, even I get envious of him sometimes."
