Mar-Dule was able to float in the air, an ability unique to those in the Spiritual Realm and above.
However, Mar-Dule hadn't fully entered the Spiritual Realm yet. His gaze was fixated on the chains around his Mortal Palace.

Mar-Dule flung his head back and released a deafening roar. Inside his body, the abundance of Metal Aether Energy that he had accumulated surged like a ferocious tide towards his sealed Mortal Palace that finally showed itself.
The three Palaces were always hidden within a person's body until that person reached a sufficient level to break the seal on them.
Mar-Dule's Mortal Palace appeared in a mysterious space right below his abdomen. This space was connected to his body but at the same time, it wasn't. The existence of this Mortal Palace was quite mysterious.
