Kang Bo, Jin Ah, and the six gang members made their way to a gaudy-looking building. It looked like it was commissioned by the Nouveau Riche. The gaudy building stood tall, adorned with extravagant decorations and shimmering lights. It seemed out of place in the humble surroundings of the town they were in. Kang Bo, Jin Ah, and the subdued gang members followed the lead of their captors into the ostentatious establishment.
Kang Bo started counting the gang members. There were two dozen men on the premises. Kang Bo was confident in his ability to take them on. The desk at which Mr. Square Head Zheng Hu was sitting was deliberately higher than the chairs in which visitors would sit. The purpose of that was to instill a sense of inferiority in those who have business interactions with him. Kang Bo sat on the visitor's chair and leaned back. He then proceeded to put his legs up on this man's desk. The disrespect was fully intended.
