Asena is hugging me. Looking up at me with puppy-dog eyes. She is excited beyond measure. I'm in an awkward position. The entire tribe is looking at me and smiling. This isn't good. I need to talk to Asena in private. She needs to know that this isn't proper.
I lift her and carry her away. As I did, that cheering got louder and louder. To see a man carry a woman over his shoulder is too spicy for them to miss out on. I shouted at the crowd. "Could you give us some privacy?" The crowd disbanded. Everyone got back to their work. Except for Oghuz Khan. He approached us. There was a bit of an apologetic look in his eyes. He knew very well that he had entrapped me. I put Asena down. She's having the time of her life. I turned around and addressed Oghuz Khan.
"I don't appreciate being tricked; what you did wasn't fine."
