"We don't need him!"
Jerry was struck with disbelief as Mr. Carter's words echoed in the room. The crew members exchanged bewildered glances, completely caught off guard by such a decisive statement.
Even Bill, who had always been supportive of Jerry, seemed momentarily taken aback by Mr. Carter's unwavering stance.
"You...you can't do that," Bill stammered, attempting to regain his composure. "Jerry is the face of this campaign. Without him, what will we rely on? Them?"
Bill pointed towards Irina and Cecilia, disregarding them as insignificant contributors. He saw Jerry as the indispensable star of the commercial, while the others were merely supporting characters.
Mr. Carter stood his ground, his voice resolute. "If Jerry is unable to commit to delivering his best performance, then we'll find someone who can."
