Chapter 37 - Found The Manager

Composer Jules walked confidently towards them. Behind him, Jun and Mina also followed. They had also noticed Irina and Cecilia and wanted to check out their juniors.

Also to show them that even though they might have lost to them in the Weekly Ranking, they would not suffer the same fate here.

Cecilia and Irina also noticed them.

"That's Composer Jules from our company, right? Why is he coming here?"

Irina asked.

"Maybe they recognized us and wanted to say 'Hello'?"

Cecilia answered with what she thought was most likely. Even though they were competitors in the Weekly Ranking, Irina and Cecilia didn't know about Jun and Mina participating.

They were competing with the Top, so how could they know about people that were not even in the Top-10?

Even so, they did know about Jun and Mina as they were idols of the same company. And Composer Jules was even more well-known in the company as he was considered a talented and valuable asset to the company.

Alan also glanced at them and didn't think much about it. He didn't even care about the conversation that he heard.

On the other hand, Mia was curious about them. She recognized Mina slightly and for Jun and Jules, she didn't know them at all.

She might have heard the songs that Composer Jules created but without someone introducing him, she would never know them. It was much more likely for her to know Jun than some composers. That was how this industry worked.

As they approached, Jules greeted them with a warm smile, "Hello! You two should be the new idols of the company who were also invited to the contest."

Irina and Cecilia gave a smile and greeted back.

"Yes, that's us," Irina replied. "It's great to meet you, Composer Jules. We've heard a lot about you and your work in the company."

Composer Jules nodded. And then Mina and Jun also introduced themselves. Alan just stayed behind, not getting involved with them.

"By the way, can I ask you where your managers are?"

Jules asked. He was eager to see the insolent person who dared to kick his brother out of the company.

Irina and Cecilia glanced at Alan. They didn't know what had happened but felt some kind of hostility from Composer Jules' words. They were not sure whether they should answer or not.

"I am! What do you want?"

Alan responded. He knew why Jules had come here. But he didn't care as he knew what he was trying to achieve would never happen.

"You are?"

Composer Jules narrowed his eyes and looked at Alan. He didn't straightaway believe his words.

"Were you not looking for me? I am their manager!"

Alan declared.

At his declaration, Composer Jules narrowed his eyes and stared at Alan. Obviously, he couldn't believe it right away. However, Cecilia and Irina didn't deny which made Jules know that his claim was real.

He stared at Alan in hatred and anger.

"I didn't expect that such an insolent brat would dare to kick out my friend. If so, don't cry if you get kicked out of the company later by me."

Composer Jules had a sneer on his face. He looked at Alan's eyes with disdain.

As soon as his word came out, the people around started making a commotion.

"Composer Jules has a conflict with that boy? Who is he?"

"What is his background? Does he have connections with some powerful people?"

"They seemed to have some internal conflict." …

Many people began discussing what the situation was. They didn't dare interfere knowing that it was a battle between giants. Composer Jules was from the first rated-company, and they knew that if he had a conflict with someone, he/she would also be from a similar background.

It was not something that people from second and third-rated companies could easily interfere with. They decided to wait and see the situation.

Mia who was beside Alan also looked at Alan in confusion. She heard everything but still found the situation unbelievable.

She only believed that Alan was here as Irina and Cecilia's friend and never guessed that Alan would be Senior Irina and Cecilia's manager.

Alan remained calm, with a nonchalant expression on his face. He already knew of Jules' intention.

Alan looked at Composer Jules and yawned before casually saying, "Your friend Kaito got kicked out of the company. What does that have to do with me? Are you blaming others' incompetence on me?"

Alan didn't think much of Composer Jules. And it was even more ridiculous that Composer Jules was blaming him for something that he didn't do.

"Don't try to make excuses!" Composer Jules sneered. He sounded like he was certain that Alan had something to do with Kaito being fired.

"You might be thinking I don't know. I already know your relationship with Director Zayden. You forced Director Zayden to fire Kaito. I will take revenge on his behalf."

Composer Jules said with hatred.

Irina who had been listening to him couldn't take it anymore and wanted to say something. However, before she could, Alan had already started speaking.

"That's why I hate stupid people. Not knowing anything and coming to a conclusion. If Kaito was fired by DIrector Zayden, go find him. Don't come to me just because you thought I had some relationship with Director Zayden and start creating problems."

Composer Jules listened while fuming with anger. If he could, he would obviously go to Director Zayden seeking revenge. However, he was a composer while Zayden was a director who had much more power in the company.

That's why he was looking for Alan. He couldn't touch Director Zayden but Alan was a different story.

"And how are you even going to take your revenge? Are you better than Luna Gracia? She was looking for trouble since I started working as a manager and what could she do? Who are you compared to her?"

Alan continued.

Composer Jules couldn't say anything back at all. He already knew that Star Luna had problems with Irina and Cecilia's manager and had created a lot of problems for them including one being Kaito not writing songs for their debut.

Even so, they had managed to keep everything together and their popularity was on the rise. So, could he do something that A-List Idol had failed to do?

Composer Jules shook his head. Unlike Luna, his only target was the manager. He thought he was much more valuable than some manager and he would prove it in the contest.
