Mai Sakaguchi POV:
"Whoaa!" I yelled out loud as I noticed myself falling from a distance I wasn't expecting.
"Hmph!" I stopped my breath as I readied myself for the impact by shifting my body appropriately, "Voila!" and smoothly landed on the ground.
I was reminded of Helis's landing back when we were sucked into the second floor, maybe that was an inspiration to my unnecessary grandiose acting.
The next instant after I landed, the crashing sound of the carriage entered my ears as I heard a grunt from the demihuman, half-panther Elijah, too.
"Hmm, quite the strength for your petite body," I said with a mocking smirk as I took in the sight of a boy scrawnier than me holding the whole carriage with his own two arms.
"Quite the landing for a spoiled brat," He tried teasing me back as he let down the wagon on the ground slowly.
