Chapter 7 - Academy, III

"Let the journey to strike all the bitches down… begin!" I huffed with a smirk written over my face.

To be honest, I'm not ugly, rather, I take myself to be in the category of, "Hot People", considering I'm quite tall with a lean build (the six-pack is here, no worries), with dark and long hair, sharp and dark eyes.

This would be hot even with the standards of Earth.

"Muwehe, I can't wait to go and be the last to enter the class. Everyone's attention will be centered on me, I can already see the reactions of the women who have begun looking for husbands."

I wonder how many offers I'll receive on the first day alone.

"Now this sure is nerve-wracking…" I whispered to myself as I felt my legs shaking and my heart pounding against my ribcage in front of the gate to the classroom.

What the heck was I thinking? Being so confident now that I got some little spells by my side, this doesn't change anything about how anti-social I am.

I'm still the same ol' shut-in that I was in my previous life, at least in this one I can go out of my house though.

"Hm?" I peeked in through the door's glass, some kids seemed to be acquainted already.

Why did I not try to make connections!?

"Chill out, Helis, you don't have to worry about anything, just be smooth when entering the class and finding your seat. It's nothing difficult…" I spoke words of assurance to myself as I held my head.

"Hah," I felt a breath by the side of my face.

I turned to look, "Huh?"

"Are you alright? You seem so nervous to the point it's making me uncomfortable too."

"A-Ah…"

There, a young, beautiful maiden who seemed to be my classmate, stood just inches away from my face, to the point I could feel her breath on my skin.

Her hair color was silvery gunmetal whereas her eyes were an enticing blue, she looked rather slim and tall too with a curvy body and voluptuous breasts.

What in the definition of perfection is this?!

"Ahem, my lady, you shouldn't get so close to a guy you've never even talked to, so please stand a bit further away." I held her shoulders and pushed her one foot away.

"Now I can properly talk to you," I said as I bowed a little, grabbing her hand and giving it a little kiss, like the gentleman I was, "Thank you for your consideration, m'lady, but I can take care now."

"Hmm?" She stared at me, "Quite the courteous guy you are, I like you."

Eh?

"Eh?" I said it out loud.

"It's fine, you may be my boyfriend for now."

"Huh?"

"No, no, wait–"

"You will sit next to me in class, erm–?" She halted, gazing into my eyes.

"Helis. Helis Roadgray."

"Yes, you will sit next to me, Helis, for you will be mine from now on."

"Wait, wait, I haven't agreed to anything–"

She cut me off once again, "Class is about to begin, so let's enter the room first."

"Yeah, I can already tell, but at least tell me your name first!"

"Oh, my name…?" She turned to face me again as she slid the door open, "How about I leave that to you to find out?" And grinned as she entered.

With nothing else said, I had but to follow her and close the door back.

"..."

The class quietened even though it was bustling just seconds ago.

The silver-haired girl moved to a desk in the right center of the class, she sat on the empty workspace and looked to the side, there, a guy was seated.

Her warm and fuzzy expression turned to an icy cold one, "Move, you fatuous one."

Oh damn, she used a fancy word to insult someone.

"Eh, but this is my seat though… kgh–"

"When she says to move, you should move, you fucking loser!"

Eh… What's with this overused trope occurring in front of me, why is your NPC delinquent hitting the timid kid because she told him to move?

Sigh, I don't want to take on the role of the hero, but since this happened because of me, I may as well do so.

"Can you stop doing that?" I asked with a serious tone from across the room, I was still at the front end of the classroom, so really, everyone had a pretty decent view of me.

"Huh? And what are you going to do about it–"

"Oh, shut it, I don't want to hear your NPC-esque words, you're now going to say: "Huh, you wanna go at it?""

"Huh, you wanna go at it– How'd you…?"

"See? If even your words are predictable, what of your movements? I can see them clearly from a mile away." I shrugged as I closed in on them, took hold of the timid guy, and straightened him.

"Sorry about this, it's my fault that you got hurt because of these brutes," I tapped the guy's back and front, dusting off his clothes.

"This girl wants me as her boyfriend, so I fear I will take over your seat for which I apologize–"

"What!?" The whole class yelled out, surprisingly, in sync.

"Did he say Selica wants him as his boyfriend?!"

"No, this can't be!"

"My dear Selica!"

So this girl's name is Selica, huh?

I shifted my body to face her from here.

She scoffed, "Heh, Selica Golden Aubrey is my full name."

G-Golden…?

Yeah, right, a person from the Golden Bloodline attending the magic academy… Wait, that's totally possible, "Huh!?"

Oh wow, now this is one way of gaining attraction and the hate of every boy in the academy.

"Sigh, and why did you decide to prey on me, miss Selica?"

"Because you seemed a worthy guy befitting me, that's why."

"That's it?!"

"Yes, does there have to be more to it?"

"Of course!"

"Quiet down everyone, class is about to begin." The professor entered the class, and soon, everyone dissipated from the scene and sat at their own specific desks.

And the lessons began.

***

"That's it for today, everyone. I'll see you all tomorrow."

"Goodbye."

As soon as the teacher left the class, "Hmph!" I received a punch to the back of my head.

"Oh, now you've done it, you retarded fuck!"
