*Shaa*
Amidst the shower, Devansh was cleaning every inch of his body. Now that he was naked, looking at his body, he was disappointed with it.
"Damn, my past self. Why did you not do some exercises. Well not like crying over spilled beans will do something. Now that I am back, I need to take good care of myself. After all, it is good to have a muscular physique and not to mention, it is gonna help me in the game in future" he thought to himself.
...
After getting ready, Devansh exited his room walking towards the dining room. As h e reached there and opened the door, the person standing in front of him made him almost tear up. It was his mother, Preeti Sharma. She looked much healthier than her going to be future appearance. However, Devansh had decided not to let the future unfold in the same way.
"Mom.", he said, moving towards the dining table. "Oh, you are awake son? I heard that you made your dad worried in the morning." she exclaimed at the sight of Devansh.
"Of course he did." said Vinay, who was seated on the table drinking his tea.
"Well, I was just a bit surprised after waking up." Devansh said, taking his place at the table.
"Moving on, what are your plans for this month. After all, it is your school life's last summer vacation." asked his mother, who also sat down after serving everyone breakfast.
"Well, I don't have much plans. For today, I would like to buy some online books." Devansh stated, munching on his omelette.
"Why so, dear?", his mother asked.
"You see, there are some books I have recently become interested in. And with the pocket money I've saved over the previous months, I can just buy them online.", said Devansh, standing up from the dining table after finishing his breakfast.
"Fine. Just remember to focus on your studies more. You cannot afford to waste your last year of school.", Preeti worriedly said.
"She is correct Devansh, you cannot afford to waste such previous time.", Vinay support Preeti.
Devansh turned back, half inside and said, "I'll keep that in mind.", and then closed the door, his lips forming a light smile. He liked the fact that his mother was taking care of him after everything he had experienced. He thought," Mom, Dad, you need not worry, I am going to score full marks as I know future.
....
Devansh entered his room and then sat infront of his PC. He switched it on and started surfing on the internet for some time. Then, a few minutes later, he streched his hands and said," Finally, I have got all the books I was looking for."
The books Devansh was talking about here were based on a diverse range of topics from books on military campaigns, great speeches and quotes and philosophy to books on the recent rise of gaming industry, various components and strategies in RPG's and the topdog guilds and gaming workshops of current times to books on human health, physique building and different martial arts & fighting techniques.
"Now that everything is set" Devansh continued," it is time to start the first step of my plan. That is, to collect knowledge and hone my body."
Devansh's plan's first step was not as simple as it sounded. He was determined to play the long run in the game by establishing his own guild. For that the first step had to be detailed. Devansh had envisioned his first step had to be to lay a strong foundation of leadership, military skills, knowledge on present day gaming industry and martial arts to help him in LOA.
In order to achieve all of these aims in harmony with his studies, he had to come up with a schedule or time table.
"Now, let's see how I can manage my my time." , he thought to himself, trying to come up with a perfect schedule.
....
After 20 minutes of critical thinking and research, Devansh finally came up with a schedule.
"This is it! The perfect schedule for me to follow until the launch of LOA.", Devansh said to himself in amazement.
The schedule was quite a hefty one. It read: 6:00- Wake up, 6:00-7:30 - Exercise(different for each day), 7:30-8:00 brush, take a shit(if needed) and take a cold shower, 8:00-8:15- Breakfast, 8:15-11:15-Practice academic subjects(different for each day), 11:15-12:30- Read a book, 12:30-1:00- Lunch, 1:00-2:00- Rest, 2:00-3:00- Studying again(to not get disowned by family), 3:00-5:00- Practice martial arts(Boxing, Muay Thai and Taekwondo), 5:00-7:00- Free time, 7:00-7:30- Dinner,7:30-9:30- Try to remember important past events or free time, 9:30-10:00- Continue the book, 10:00-6:00- Sleep.
The schedule was designed such that it could fit into Devansh's everyday lifestyle.
"Now all that is left to do is inform mom of this schedule.", said Devansh, moving out of his room with the schedule in his hands.
After reaching the kitchen, he opened the door, announcing his arrival.
"Hmm?", Preeti took notice of her son's arrival,"What brings you here, dear?".
"I wanted to show you something mom.", Devansh said and started explaining the schedule to his mother.
After a while of processing what her son told her, Preeti said," It's good that you have started to take your time seriously. Don't worry, I will do my best to help you."
"Thanks mom. I knew I could always depend on you. Then I'll be taking my leave." Devansh said, moving out of the kitchen.
Now that his preparations were complete, Devansh put into action his first step towards becoming the greatest player in LOA.
Grinning, he thought, " Just one year."
