As I stood on the edge of the underground river, I knew what I had to do. I had to move forward. It wasn't just an urge or a compulsion; it was a feeling that ran deep within me. And so, without a second thought, I started moving in one direction because I don't know in which direction the protagonist moved.
The wind rushed past me, whipping my hair into my face and making my clothes flap wildly. I felt weightless, I knew that I was going to face some monster but also I wasn't terrified. The monster was getting closer and closer, and I knew that the first attack was going to make an impact , and I was going to make it painful for him, if not fatal.
But as I was getting ready for the fight, I felt something strange begin to happen. The world around me shifted, becoming darker and more twisted. And then, suddenly, I felt that the monster changed direction . Instead of coming in my direction it started moving in another direction.
I was standing in the dark, surrounded by strange and terrifying monsters.
Why, were we going to hunt each other?
I didn't know where the divine liquid was. I had to get it to become real strong or else, I knew one thing for certain: I was going to be in danger. The creatures around me were wolf , bear and even rabbit but they were anything but nothing I had ever seen before. They were twisted and their eyes were red, with razor-sharp claws and teeth that gleamed in the darkness, with their Saliva falling out.
With no other option, I drew my sword and charged forward. The monsters were fast, but I was faster. I dodged and weaved, parrying their attacks with ease. My sword felt like an extension of my arm, and I knew without a doubt that I could take down whatever came my way.
As I moved deeper into the floor of the dungeon the monsters grew more numerous and more dangerous. But with each victory, I felt stronger and more confident. It was as if the battle itself was giving me experience and I was also collecting meat of the monster I had killed because it was going to be a fuel for my strength.
Hours passed, and I battled on, never stopping or resting. I was driven forward by some unseen force, compelled to keep fighting no matter what. And then, just when I thought I couldn't go on any longer, I saw it: a flicker of light in the distance.
As I moved downward I found a big but small opening inside which was the mana ball or crystal, but for me this was going to be my foundation for the future.
