"Everyone gather around this random branch I found!" Thin yowled.
"Who died and made you leader?" Maple mumbled.
Thin ignored her. "I would like to have everyone's attention for like five seconds." She waited until everyone gathered around. "First, I need to address the fact that today is the new moon and we will meet up with the other group at the mid-forest at mid-day."
"We can't take everyone! Who will we take?" Wave asked.
"That is for the leader to decide," she said, then a little louder she meowed, "Second, we must vote for who will be leader and co-leader."
"Thin-tail should be leader!" White yowled.
"Yes, Thin-tail!" meowed Wave.
"Thin-tail!" Storm said.
The others meowed in agreement. Thin was shocked. "Ok... What about co-lea-"
"White-heart!" the cats interuptted. "Thin-tail and White-heart!"
"Um... Ok. Third, the lead- I mean I must decide who goes to the mid-forest."
Thin chose Storm, Gold, Wave, White, and Storm-flight to go with her. "Which means Maple, Pine, and Cloud gaurd the thicket. And Chestnut stays as well."
The cats nodded.
"Fourth, we must have Storm-flight trained in fighting as he isn't yet. Pine will train him."
Pine nodded at Thin and looked at the cat next to him. "As that is all that must be addressed, you are all dismissed and may go back to what you were doing."
Thin jumped off the branch.

Mid-day came sooner than expected. Thin sat at the entrance to the thicket and called out, "Mid-day! Everyone coming gather around the entrance."
Once everyone was gathered, Thin lead them to the mid-forest to meet with the other group.

When the cats got to the mid-forest Thin saw a huge group of other cats. Two cats were sitting on a branch with two more below them. Fade was one of the cats on the brach.
"Finally," Fade groaned. "Whoever your leader is get up here, co-leader below us and we can start."
Thin and White went to their places while the rest of the group found places in the crowd.
"Currently, with it being leaf-season everything is becoming more scarce as the days pass." a light gray cat on the branch said. The cat had white stripes and talked calmly. "We have a new group and must set up new borders on our territories before snow-season comes."
They agreed on the border for Thin's group being just past the Pine.
"Besides that, my group has new cats now being trained along with kittens. We have spotted a fox just inside out border with Fade's group."
Fade hissed. "We will take care of that immediately."
"Your turn Fade."
"Thank you, Wind. My group has experienced some trouble with the stream. It keeps overflowing with freezing rain as snow-season gets closer." Fade then nodded to Thin for her to go next.
"I am the newly made leader of my group, Thin-tail or Thin-" a couple cats laughed- "My co-leader below me is White and our healer who is not here today is Chestnut. We have also experienced trouble with Fade's group attacking mine for NO REASON."
"We felt threatened." Fade held her head a bit higher.
"They did nothing to you," Thin countered.
"Fade," Wind said. "If you attacked first-"
"They hissed!" she interupted.
"You had no right to attack." Wind began to talk to the crowd of cats below them. "As that is all that needs to be addressed, we will now prepare to leave."
The leaders jumped off the branch and their co-leaders got off the stump to follow them.
"You did great, Thin-tail," White said.
"Thanks," she replied. "Gather everyone. We will leave soon."
"Yes, Thin-tail," White said before walking off.
Maybe, Thin thought. Maybe I can be leader.
