Wara almost went mad with worry, her features darkening as she tried to figure out where exactly she had put the child.
Now that she thought about it, she had no idea how she knew the spells. All she knew was that she knew them and what they did. She had no reference on exactly how to cast spells.
Sometimes, she didn't need spells to use magic but lately she'd been depending on them.
Nak noticed the dark demeanor on her face and asked Wara. "Where exactly is he?" A glare was all it took for him to stop asking.
After a while, Nak had to speak up. "uhm Wara. We need to leave here. We can find Zola when we are safe but currently there are another horde of creatures headed this way."
Wara didn't reply, instead she sat on the ground and crossed her legs. Closing her eyes, she decided to try and look for Zola. She had no idea what she was doing or how she was going to do it, she just felt.
That's when she saw it, little wisps of mist in form of strings floating about in the air. She didn't know which one was the one she was looking for but as soon as she thought about it, a singular string that was more prominent than others and she mentally grabbed it, knowing it was Zola.
She randomly appeared in a dark room and she began to feel for his energy, searching and searching until she heard a sob.
"Nya." Zola called weakly, "Save me" Wara immediately reached and pulled on the boy just as the door to the dark room Zola was in opened again.
The man cursed vehemently as he saw the boy disappear but soon calmed down as the remnant energy of the boy was still in the room.
He stroked his chin and smiled. "I guess it's plan B then."

Zola yelped fearfully as he landed on Wara's lap immediately. Recognising the familiar scent, he walked as he realised he had finally left that dark place.
"Where were you?" He cried, angrily as she hugged him tightly.
Sica cleared his throat awkwardly behind them. "Not to intrude on your affectionate moment but we need to leave now." He said throwing a cautious glance at Wara while he waited for her reaction.
The woman however, ignored him, searching the child to see if he was hurt.
"I am well Nya." The child reassured "I was just scared."
Sica tried his luck again and opened his mouth to speak when Wara abruptly stood up in a hurried manner.
She snapped her head southward and frowned. "Something's coming, we have to leave now!" She didn't say anything else and just brushed back Sica.
Said man smiled bitterly and held his tongue as he knew the woman had power to send him to the afterlife if he wasn't careful.
He followed behind her and saw she has rushed past everyone and was in a hurry to leave the open field.
"We have to leave! Now!" Wara almost screamed. She could feel it, something dark and sinister was rapidly approaching them. She recognised the aura as the same of the one she'd felt when the song of death had forced the creatures to the camp.
Her skin crawled with unease and she yelled at them one last time and then Nak swiped his hand in the air and a cart suddenly appeared. There was no creature in the front and Nak walked to the front, grabbing unto the pulleys.
"Get inside" he snapped "I'll pull you all away" there was a strange look in his eyes as he spoke, causing Wara to frown.
Wara saw others do as he said without complaining and follow suit. Zola was frightened by the strange feeling in the air but seeing how shaken Wara felt, he decided not to tell her what he knew.

From above the trees, a shadow lay perched on a branch as it watched the group all enter the carriage and the man pull them away.
Its form swirled and glitched, following in the trees as they moved. It had two white dots for eyes and they were trained on a particular woman with purple hair and a dark haired woman who had hidden daggers in her boots.
It followed as Nak crossed another veil and crossed it with ease. As it jumped silently from tree to tree, the branches it had perched on would slowly shrivel and wither, causing the shadow to be completely mobile.
It followed Nak for a whole day and watched them all as the camped temporarily to sleep.
After Fjammi who had insisted on keep watch had fallen asleep, it swooped down, landing silently and walked towards the pot where Yhra had kept the remainders of the rabbit stew she'd cooked.
It slowly opened it and after a few scoops, disappeared into the trees as Fjammi began to stir awake.
What it did not take into account or chose to ignore was a certain woman who had woken up and had seen them swipe the food.
