"Hmm?" King Vedor glanced at the scroll in his hands, skimming through its content.
Halfway through, his expression changed from boredom to anger.
"What the hell do you mean he died!?" He yelled, his voice quaking the room.
"What the hell is wrong with them all? I send them on a mission and they decide to die rather than return with good news?" Vedor asked angrily but no one was present to answer his question.
"Does he have a powerful guard hiding in the shadows? One strong enough to eliminate those sent after him?"
"After all, he's insanely gifted. It wouldn't be wrong to keep such a guard close to him even without his knowledge." Vedor nodded as he calmed his thoughts on his throne.
"The Reaper was caught and although he's refusing to speak about us, we can't be sure that'll remain so for long. There's also Keith who died without a known cause and yet, his corpse couldn't be found."
