Screeech!
A bird's cry pierced the air, its echo reverberating through the land, even though it soared hundreds of meters above the ground.
As the bird approached a solitary, towering mountain, it descended gracefully, wings outstretched like a seasoned explorer, until it finally alighted at the mountain's mighty base.
The two figures above it deftly dismounted the bird, their movements fluid. One made a noticeable "Thud!" sound as he landed, while the other landed so softly it was almost as if he'd never touched the ground.
"We're getting close," Chethan said with a warm smile as he gazed at the mountain's summit from their current position. His eyes then roved over their surroundings, taking in the lush wilderness. "We'll be resting here for today."
