Ansellellor stood in the hood and watched the dragons eaten by the haze-shadows. His lips twitched.
He instantly moved to the meeting room of the First. The meeting had just ended, and Ndaeldarim, Elnurian, and Itullannoth remained in the hall. Ansell threw off his hood, sweat beaded on his face, his eyes expressed horror.
"Greyskuggies! They are back!" he said.
Itullannot drops the goblet of his drink, which rolled across the floor.
"What?!" infected with fear, exclaimed Ndael.
"I saw them!" Ansell said, "They instantly dealt with four dragons. I'm going to move all the sentient beings from Ermir and maybe some semi-sentient creatures and loyal pets," he was nervous, trying to come up with a plan, "I will move them to Malderfir, I will persuade the malderfirians to accept the refugees."
"I'm getting off the planet right now, sorry," Itullannot said, and disappeared.
"You want to wake up all the remaining dragons, and all the others?" Ndael asked, ignoring Itullannoth's disappearance.
"It's a great idea!" Ansell exclaimed, "I'll move the sleeping dragons by touching them, and then I'll tell the others that their brothers are on another planet and ... I will think of something."
"Maybe you could move some of them to Ull'Alisht?" Ndael suggested.
"Too risky, the giants are unlikely to see their friends in dragons," Ansell said. "What to do, what to do?"
"They got here because of you!" Elnurian suddenly exclaimed. "You brought the greyskuggies from the Kaartarnar!"
"I thought the volcanoes had burned everyone there, that's why we destroyed all life on the planet! All because of the disgusting Greyskuggies!" Ansell made excuses, "I could not even imagine that there was one of them left! But wait, let me think."
"There's not much to think about! We don't have enough power, not even you, to move that many ermirians!" Ndael said.
"I'll be gone for a while," Ansell said and disappeared.
He appeared beneath Lisandra, who was hovering in the sky, alongside Erafner, Stellar and Darlat, searching for dragons.
"Lisandersterna," Ansell shouted.
Lisandra and the dragons spotted him and descended on the desert rocky sand.
"Who are you?" Lisandra asked.
"I am the First, your… um… father. I see that you've changed your hair color somehow," Ansell said.
Lisandra raised an eyebrow and the dragons looked at each other in surprise.
"Tell me then, father," Lisandra asked cautiously, "who, then, is my mother and where is she?"
"There is no time for this, we have a global problem, all your children and the children of your sisters are in danger, I must move you to another planet!"
"To another planet? Move?" Lisandra raised an eyebrow once again in surprise. "I don't want to be moved. Throw off your hood, father, I want to look at you," Lisandra said in an orderly tone.
Ansell obeyed and his arqilunian-like ears flickered in the light of the Silenta.
"You are an arqilunian!" Lisandra said.
"Not really," Ansell said, "I ask you, Lisandra, trust me, I want to save you and all the mothers and all your dragon children. I saw g… creatures you've never heard of, these creatures instantly ate Beliks, Fayroar, Kansif and Wendale. Instantly! Falsalvgudinas or ghosts are naughty kids compared to them!"
"Naughty kids?! You, arqilunian old elf, call the creatures capable of killing your… daughters as naughty children?" Lisandra asked irritably.
"Yes, naughty kids or children!" Ansell also irritated, "They're a threat, but not as much as–"
Lisandra suddenly grabbed him by the throat and lifted him in the air.
"Old elf, I don't want to kill you, but you're either lying to me or–"
"Brothers are flying!" Darlat suddenly shouted.
Lisandra let go of Ansell and flew to look. Lanmeit and Dukeil were approaching.
"Brothers, my dinadam," Lanmeit turned to everyone, "we have met our wounded brothers and what they will tell you–"
"I'll tell you too, but on another planet! We have not much time!" Ansell interrupted him and began to cast the portal spell.
A huge portal to Malderfir appeared. But at that moment, Lisandra also began to cast whip spell, because she thought that Ansell was casting an attack spell, and the fire whip grabbed Ansell by the throat.
"Let him go, dinadam, please," said Lanmeit, "whoever it is, he may be telling the truth!"
Lisandra let Ansell go.
"Fly into the portal, and I'll take your wounded there," Ansel shouted, clearing his throat.
"Dinadam, I felt that you were a mother, not falsalvgudina, and I didn't want to believe that Gaal began to destroy Ermir, and the rest–" Lanmeit began.
"This arqilunian," Lisandra interrupted him, "claims that he is my father!"
"Maybe so, dinadam, or maybe I'm just sleeping on the Wall of Ghosts, and I'm having a bad dream," said Lanmeit, "and since I'm dreaming, I'll take my chances and fly there," and he headed for the portal. Flying through the portal, he landed in a green clearing and spewed flames into the sky.
Dukeil flew up to Lisandra.
"My dinadam, I... I don't know what to say, my world turned upside down." And he flew after Lanmeit.
"Wait for me here," Lisandra said to the other dragons.
"Martedraar, I will not leave you!" Erafner said.
"Neither will I," Stellar said.
"Shall we trust the madness of this arqilunian old elf?" Lisandra asked with a smile.
"Gaal's mother didn't trust you, although you spoke the truth!" Stellar remarked.
"Unfortunately, she was not Gaal's mother," Lisandra said.
"You are Gaal's mother!" Ansell exclaimed, "That's why your hair color has changed! How amazing it is! And you are the mother of the Talanjir clan. It was either my colleagues forgot, or they did something wrong, but honestly, I didn't know that!"
"A father who doesn't know about his daughter's children is not a good father," Lisandra said.
"Enter the portal, please, I can't hold it for long, it wastes a lot of energy. Tell me, Lisandra, do you want to see Erbalar very soon?"
"If this is not a trick, then yes," Lisandra said, and turned to the dragons, "Alright, let's fly."
And they flew into the portal. Ansell closed it and immediately teleported to Erbalar.
The wounded dragons moved in the direction where they were led by the soaring high Equair and Esvet, who wanted to return to the mountains. Some of the wounded could already fly, but they all walked pretty quickly.
Ansell appeared directly in front of them.
"How is it that you have travelled such a distance from Hoogmeerfall so quickly, hmm? Anyway, do you remember me, Erbalar?"
"Yes, you are the one who moved Gaal to another world," Erbalar replied.
"And now I've moved your mother too, only to another planet where there is no Gaal. Now I'm going to open the portal, try to enter it quickly, alright?"
"Alright," Erbalar said uncertainly and looked at the other dragons.
Ansell opened a portal and Erbalar, Chekwan, Hafron, Releks, Ashneer and Halick entered it one by one. Ansell saw Lisandra meeting Erbalar there. Equair and Esvet followed the dragons and Ansell closed the portal.
Then Ansell tried to teleport somewhere and failed.
"Oh, no, I think I'm going to die here," he said to himself and walked south.
It was snowing and the cold air made the old man shiver. He found the strength to conjure extra fur on his winter cape. And Ansell continued on his way through Norvinoria, heading south. Winter came.
