As Rizette and Astora continue to rode horseback along the road, Rizette can see the a cavalry of Tremont Knights approaching, she immediately adjust her hood and adjust Astora's position as he was asleep. The Knights just walked pass by them thinking they were just travelers. As they pass by, Rizette had a quick glance of the commander.
[Sir Eloise Of the Tremont house, you've always despise the Lowell house...]
As the Knights were finally far from them, she sighs as she was concerned of the current situation.
[Brother, I hope you understand well of what I am in right now....Sorry for dragging you with me Astora.]
They continue to their way along the road. Few hours later it's already noon, Astora wakes up from the chattering of villagers.
"Agh.. Rizette we made it to a village?"
"Yep, we're low on money by the way, so let's get a room first."
"We might as well sell the horse, try to get jobs here, stay here for I don't know how long, and buy equipments."
"The horse.... I don't think we should sell it, we're gonna need transportation."
"So let's see..."
They both get off the horse and check at what they have.
"Astora do you need a wand or staff?"
"No, I can use some weak magic without those, It can only kill weak monsters like slimes and others. What about you Riz?"
"Well we have a sword and that maybe enough."
"I guess I'll have the dagger for dire situations."
Astora and Rizette wander around the village to look for an inn, they left the horse at an stable beside the inn and went inside.
"Welcome to Clever Star! What can I get you?"
The innkeeper greeted them with a smile. As they walk up to the counter, Astora greeted the innkeeper back with a smile.
"Hello ma'am, I wonder how much for one?"
"One? Eh....."
Rizette smiles as She puts her hands in Astora, putting up an act and chuckling.
"I'm sorry, my dear little cousin tends to have nightmares and always cry out for me..."
The innkeeper looked at them with a rather concerned expression as well other people who are inside the inn who heard them. Astora bit his lips and adjust his hood again trying to hide his embarrassment.
"I-I see, that would be 2 gold.."
Astora payed the innkeeper and try to kept a serious expression yet his face was still shows his agitation. The innkeeper gave them a key.
"Room 24, p-please enjoy your stay.'
"Thank y-you."
Astora and Rizette went up the stairs and enter the room, Astora immediately closed the door and sat on the bed. He sighs as he was flustered and tries to forget the event that happened.
"Agh why goddess. Why must you curse me with a slow body..."
"Hey it's okay, erm...you're still growing.. that's normal hehehe...."
Rizette tries to comfort him but he groans while covering his face. She'd sigh and waited for Astora to finally get his head out of the cloud but surprisingly it didn't too long
"Hgh...well forget it, I guess we need to focus on what were in right now."
"Very much."
They both pull down their hood. Astora looked at Rizette and realize she went back to being blonde again.
"Riz... you're blonde again."
"I know, you saw my hair turn white with a black stripe when I was fighting those monsters, it's temporary. I go to being a blonde again for 2 days."
"So is it a curse?"
"Yeah..."
Astora's expression quickly turned miserable as he realizes how long Rizette hide it from him, he realize how strong and iron-willed his wife is. Rizette hugged him, his face rests on her chest as the flames of love doesn't flicker even in their darkest hour.
"Hehehe."
"Hmmm? What's so funny?"
"Oh nothing, you always liked hugs cause you always rest your face in my breast~"
"Hmph, it's been a long time since I felt these again..."
"Can you let go now?"
"Few minutes please..."
"Alright.."
Rizette smiles as she pats Astora.
