High school student, Takeshi Igarashi had always been fascinated with the idea of magic and all things supernatural, often losing himself in fantasies of mythical creatures and wizards. One day, he wakes up in a new and unfamiliar world, surrounded by towering mountains and dense forests. As Takeshi woke up in the unfamiliar world, he could feel the chill in the air, and the misty mountain range ahead of him. Everything around him was wild and untamed, so unlike the bustling city he called home. The towering necromancer, Alaric, suddenly emerged from the forest, dressed in a long black robe, his face withered, and his gaze piercing. He introduced himself as the ruler of the Kingdom of Necrosia, a world where magic was not only real but also revered.
For years, Takeshi had imagined such a world where mythical creatures and spells were real, but he never expected to be a part of it. The sorcery of Necrosia was vastly different from what Takeshi had imagined. Alaric opened his eyes to an array of things, some of which were grotesque and incredibly dangerous. Takeshi learned that necromancy was the most powerful magic in this world and Alaric was considered the most skilled necromancer of them all.
Despite the weirdness of it all, Takeshi was excited to delve into the study of necromancy. He was Alaric's first apprentice. With his technological knowledge from Earth and Alaric's magic, they were able to expand on the limits of the typical necromancer's repertoire. They worked tirelessly, infusing the current workings of the Kingdom of Necrosia with variations of tech that would make them the most powerful kingdom.
As Takeshi began to grasp the art of necromancy, he quickly realized that the kingdom's survival was hanging in the balance. The magic kingdoms had all their eyes set on Necrosia, and any opportunity to invade would be welcomed. Takeshi, with his mastery of technological gadgetry, worked constantly with Alaric to improve the magic, amassing legions of troops, undead, and other magical beings to bolster Necrosia's defenses.
But, as Takeshi learned more, he also realized that not all was well within the Kingdom. There were leaders who were disloyal to Alaric and strongly believed they could rule better than he did. These rogue elements were secretly working behind the shadows to topple the ruler's power in the kingdom.
As the threat of war loomed bigger, Takeshi set out on a journey with Alaric to strengthen Necrosia's defenses using his technological knowledge to bolster their magic. Together, they would royal the Necrosian troops, beef up their magical armor, and create weapons to fight off and defeat the other kingdoms.
Through their hard work and ingenuity, they were able to prepare the kingdom for the impending battle, but it was a battle that would come with twists, turns, and more magic than Takeshi had ever imagined. As Takeshi and Alaric continued their journey to strengthen the Kingdom of Necrosia's defenses, they encountered various challenges along the way. Their path was fraught with danger, and they had to be cautious at every step. They passed through treacherous terrains, crossed rivers that were infested with deadly creatures, and fought against supernatural beings that they had never seen before.
Throughout their journey, Takeshi learned more and more about the Kingdom of Necrosia's intricacies. He found that magic was not always what it appeared to be. It was a complicated web of manipulation, power-plays, and politics. The higher-ups in the kingdom were not always in the King's good graces, making it complicated for Takeshi and Alaric to trust those who were closest to them.
As they trekked on, Takeshi began to understand the power structure of Necrosia. While most of the people believed in their ruler, there were dissenters who did not agree with Alaric's leadership style. They wanted a rift in the kingdom, which takes advantage of it to seize control. Takeshi saw the roots of the rebellion and understood that it would take more than magic and technology to stop it.
Alaric saw that Takeshi had absorbed everything like a sponge, and he was proud of the young man. Takeshi learned the magic of Necrosia and its workings so quickly it was amazing. Alaric had never seen someone so proficient in learning Necrosian magic in a short time. The knowledge passed down from him had made Takeshi the undisputed future of the Kingdom of Necrosia.
With Alaric's guidance, Takeshi's inventions proved revolutionary in the strengthening and fortification of the Kingdom. Using his technological know-how, he was able to improve the capability of the magical apparatus the Necrosian troops used to defend the Kingdom. Their shields and armor were reinforced to withstand even brutal magical attacks, and they had mobile field hospitals to attend to the wounded.
As they reached the kingdom's borders, they began to see the other kingdoms' preparations in the distance. They had to dig deeper, work smarter, and work harder if they were going to defend the Kingdom of Necrosia from the forthcoming onslaught.
Takeshi watched in amazement as the other magical kingdoms exhibited unique magical strengths compared to Necrosia. He saw spellcasters that summoned elemental magic, necromancers that used a swarm of undead, and so many other magical creatures. It was a sight to behold.
Suddenly, something strange happened in the sky. A massive rift, a portal, opened up above the armies. A team of wizards, dressed in robes Takeshi had never seen before, emerged from the vortex. The perplexing part was that they were not allies with either of the other magical kingdoms; they were independent.
Alaric surged forward in a moment of magical fury, his hands charged with magical fire. Takeshi, who had been walking beside him, was thrown off balance by the sudden outburst of energy. He rolled on the ground several times before getting back up to his feet to survey the area.
"What happened, Alaric?" Takeshi asked.
"This is an independent assembly of powerful sorcerers. Unfortunately, they are criminals, and for them, money is the only thing that matters. The sorcerers are for hire, and they are working with the other kingdoms to defeat the Kingdom of Necrosia."
"What are we going to do?" Takeshi asked.
"We are going to do what we do best," Alaric replied. "We're fighting them."
