'BEEP BEEP! BEEP BEEP!' the new and noisy alarm clock that Brooks's, Brystal's, Joe's and Emma's mom had bought yesterday. The children quickly woke up, fearing that their mother would come in with her new and as-loud-as-ever pots and bang them together to wake them up.
They got ready for breakfast and went down. "Y'know, it's kinda weird walking down this stair," Joe said as he jumped to the end of the staircase and massaged his feet. "It's tiring and exciting at the same time."
Their new pets rushed to them and they picked them up. After giving their pets food, they sat down at the table and ate a wonderful breakfast of muffins, cereal and orange juice. Brystal looked up and said to Emma, "Daisy and Pip,"
"Huh?" Emma scratched her head. "Last night, you asked me what our puppy and kitty should be named," Brystal said. "The dog should be named Daisy and the kitty should be named Pip."
