"What are you talking about Cain?"
Yasaka said as she looked around in horror. She was checking if someone was around to hear what Cain had just uttered.
"Exactly what you are hearing about!"
Cain said, drinking the sake from the cup.
"But why would I start a war, isn't keeping the status quo more beneficial for me?"
"Of course, it is. But what if he is the one starting it?"
Cain said as the tengu burst into the room.
"Yasaka-Sama, Nurarihyon's Youkai's are trying to attack!"
"What?"
Yasaka said, frowning. Immediately her eyes landed on Cain, who simply smiled at that.
He had better sensing skills so naturally when he posed the question he already knew this was going to happen.
Nurarihyon had finally decided that Yasaka did not have anyone who would help her, and he was indeed correct.
He wasn't the leader of the Youkai's for so long without any reason, his political skills were top-notch.
Not to mention his species was famed for snatching other's homes and claiming them as their own.
As an instinct, he knew when the time to raid others home was the best one. But alas Cain had intervened at the worst possible time.
Thus Nurarihyon's plan failed. If he had known that a being like Cain was supporting Yasaka, he would have never dared to do something like this.
But one can't always win in life, Nurarihyon's reign was about to end. As Cain had put his sights on him.
Yasaka had long since run away to deal with the invaders. Cain was sipping his sake while Tamamo looked at him in wonder.
She was even more attuned to sensing the nature energy of the Youkai. Even a Daiyoukai like Yasaka couldn't compare to her.
Of course, as Yasaka was connected to the leyline of Kyoto she should have sensed the invaders faster, even sooner than Cain did.
But who was the leading invader this time? It was Magari, a Youkai who was rumored to would become a Daiyoukai.
Along with Nurarihyon knowing about the ins and outs of being a Leyline user, they managed to trick Yasaka, hence allowing Cain and Tamamo to react faster.
The legendary kitsune had figured this out the moment the tengu entered the room. And she knew that Cain had said his words at the best possible timing.
But she still didn't understand why would Cain make an alliance with such obvious demerits to himself.
"Why did you do this?"
"Isn't it quite obvious? For the leyline running beneath Kanto."
"Is that for me?" Tamamo said, her mind finally at ease.
'My beauty was able to control him?'
"No, for something else, I will help you with another thing. I have something which would grow immensely due to that leyline."
Cain said, making Tamamo frown at the hidden meaning. Naturally, Cain was talking about the world tree.
'If a single leyline could make one strong enough to fight two Dragon Kings at once, then wouldn't it help the world tree gain its own spirit? But I need to get it without damaging it. Thankfully I have Morgan for that.'
Cain had made the deal for this sole reason, to get the leyline. As for the losses that would occur due to the alliance?
The leyline would recover them easily, not to mention the deal would end the moment Serafall gets the chance.
Once that happens, Serafall would make a deal with Hell's and Devil's benefit in mind. While Yasaka would be in debt to Cain and Lucifer Clan.
Destroying Nurarihyon had other benefits to him as well. With Yasaka being the sole leader of Youkai's over all of Japan.
She would become a major player in the Shinto Pantheon. With a major pull in its workings.
Rather than Nurarihyon who was much harder to control, Yasaka was much easier. With her in control, Cain would gain much-needed pull in Japan.
He knew that Japan was going to be the hotbed of supernatural activity in the future, so he needed to get his pieces in place as quickly as possible.
As for other benefits? Youkais were a being who could be used to bolster the devil population, gaining them as a force under Hell would help them in getting some reincarnated Devil's.
There were other benefits also, he could act in Japan with a valid reason as helping Yasaka.
His roaming of Japan wasn't exactly welcomed, as it was someone else's territory, but now, as someone who is in an alliance with a Faction in the Shinto Pantheon? He could do as he pleased, as long as some etiquette was maintained.
All this thinking was done by Cain just after he had sensed the invaders. Showing how quickly he could think, and it was not only him.
Everyone who had reached a strength like him weren't morons. Even a muscle heads like Thor could outwit most with ease, it's just that he hid it well, and preferred fighting over thinking.
"So are we going to help her?"
"Unless she asks, we won't interfere. We are in an alliance, not in a master-servant relationship."
Cain said he was sure Yasaka would win, although Magari may escape, a six-tailed nekomata was a difficult foe to capture, even for Yasaka.
But what occupied Cain's mind was not any of this but a source of power he had sensed just at the edges of Kyoto, it was very well hidden, even he would have missed it.
But he did some research after finding the Youkai invaders and was able to find it. After he sensed it, he was shocked to find that it was almost as strong as him.
But just as he made that discovery, his spying was discovered and the other party quickly escaped.
'Tch should have been more sneakier. But who would have thought that Amaterasu was hiding like this? What could be the reason?'
Figuring out the hidden god's identity wasn't a difficult task, few gods were as strong as Cain, and those who were stronger, if they came here the entire top echelon of every force would know it.
As such excluding Thor, it only left Amaterasu. Sussano could never be such a sneaky guy.
By the time Yasaka returned, she looked a little troubled. There were some bruises on her fair skin.
Her clothes were disturbed, and her cleavage was clearly visible. And her Tails were in disorder, unlike their silky state prior to the battle.
The ears were also straight ready to react quickly. She then looked at Cain and asked.
"About your previous proposal, may we talk again?"
"Sure, but not now. Get some rest and handle your matters. I also have some work, I will come by in a month. Just to be clear, this may take a long time."
"I am prepared." Yasaka said with determination.
Cain then stood up and waved his hand. Restoring Yasaka's appearance. And healing her. It was a little wasteful, to use demonic energy to heal a Youkai, a being who used nature energy.
But to Cain it was nothing, instead, it raised his opinion with Yasaka. He left with Tamamo, teleporting back to Hell.
Yasaka was left stunned, she was weak to honest praise and compliments. Cain healing her like that and considering her situation was even more of a blow to her.
A blush quickly spread on her face and her tails began to move like a dog wagging its tail.
The tengu was left completely confused, seeing the ever-serious Yasaka-Sama like that was something new to him.

It was dinner time by the time Cain had returned with Tamamo, hence he quickly took a shower and went to the dining table.
He had told Tamamo to do the same. Cain arrived at the dining table and looked surprised that surprisingly everyone was present, and by that, he meant, everyone.
His wives, his maids, the entire peerage of his along with the goddesses, his mother, and of course him and Tamamo.
"Woah! So many people, or should I say females?"
Tamamo said, looking at everyone curiously. The others were used to Cain bringing someone to the castle every now and then.
Cain then sat down, Grayfia stood to his right while Melissa and Vanessa were on his left.
On the right side of the table sat Zeaira, Rayla, Nyx, Ereshkigal, Lillith, Morgan, and Jeanne.
On his left from his seat sat Scathach, Ingvild, Medusa, Echidna, Brynhildr, Crom and Tiamat.
Tamamo looked at the two sides and then sat beside Jeanne, at the end of the table. The table was already too long and it would seem it may continue to grow longer by magic.
Before dinner began Cain introduced the latest member to everyone.
"This is Tamamo-no-Mae, she is going to be a new family member, as she would join my peerage as a pawn. Tamamo, they are your new 'friends'."
"I am no pawn of yours! I won't listen to your orders like a slave!"
Tamamo said righteously, picking up the fork and pouring it at Cain. Hearing that Grayfia sighed.
"Cain, you didn't explain it to her?" Lillith asked her son.
"I have done that enough times, someone else would. Fia!"
Cain said before Grayfia began to explain the evil piece system to Tamamo.
"Oh, then it is fine! Though I won't listen to your demands, I demand some free will!"
"Sure, now everyone introduces yourselves."
"We are not children, Cain."
Tiamat said with spite before saying her name but was elbowed by Crom, she looked at her in confusion.
"Don't begin, you want his wives to get angry?"
Crom whispered to her reptilian friend. Who then nodded in gratefulness.
"Zeaira Lucifer."
"Rayla Lucifer."
"Nyx, the real one, from Greece."
"Ereshkigal, from Kur."
"Lilith Livan."
"Morgan LeFay, from Britain."
"Jeanne D'Arc, from France."
"Scathach Skadi, from Dun Scaith."
"Ingvild Leviathan."
"Medusa, from Olympus."
"Echidna! The mother of mosnters, i guess!"
"Brynhildr from Valhalla!"
"Crom Cruach, the Crescent Circle Dragon."
"Tiamat, the Chaos Karma Dragon."
"Grayfia Lucifuge."
"Melissa Barbatos."
"Vanessa Valefor."
Everyone then looked at Cain who was busy eating his steak.
"Me too? Fine, I guess."
He then put down the utensils and said.
"Cain Livan Lucifer, Creator of Hell."
*gulp*
Tamamo made an audible sound and said,
"Tamamo-no-Mae, Kyuubi Kitsune? That doesn't sound as cool as the others!"
Her ears fell down so did her two tails. Cain had given her some souls to use, she had managed to reading another one of her tails.
"It's fine, don't worry. Kyuubi is already a mythic creature."
Lillith said in motivation. With that, the introduction of the kitsune went swimmingly well.
"Also, Morgan, Rayla. Go to Kyoto and finalize an alliance with the West Youkai Faction. Don't look for benefits but rather help them without any hidden agenda ."
"Why?"
Rayla asked while Morgan had already begun to think about what she should do. What matters to her is doing the tasks given to her as nicely as possible.
It would raise her opinion in Cain's eye, making him more susceptible to her plots, of making him agree to let her call her husband in front of everyone!
"Well I am going to organize a large-scale training for some of the peerage members and later the remaining ones along with the others."
"And how does that co-relate to helping a bunch of Youkai's?"
"You will see in the near future."
Cain replied mysteriously, he then told Grayfia.
"Fia. Remind me in a month that I need to go to find a swordsman in Japan."
"As you wish."

"Finally, I have conceived a child!"
"Congratulations on that my lord, but the phrasing needs much to be clear. It's not you but your wife who has conceived a child."
Euclid said to Rizevim who was jumping in the bed like a ten-year-old. Euclid's words were ignored and Rizevim said.
"Uhya-Uhya! Finally! getting that whore Aphrodite to bless that female sow was worth it! I managed to impregnate her in one go! Finally, I shall regain my power!"
"Again congratulations on that my lord, but wouldn't the soul of the said child be unstable?"
"Who cares? Its body would be top-notch, that's all that matters! Now due to my jumping, the single mother of four has failed to make her one-year-old child sleep, this is true evil!"
"I am not sure about that my lord, but what to do about the woman?"
"Keep her under hypnosis till she gives birth, after that, I don't care!"
"As you wish, but was it really necessary to leave the Vampires unchecked?"
"It was, sooner or later, Cain would figure out I was there. It's best if we change our location every day. America is pretty good, I shall commit myself to waking up earlier so that I can commit more evil things!"
"I shall help you in that, my lord. By waking you at daybreak!"
Euclid said with fire in his eyes, Rizveim froze at that and said in horror.
"You wouldn't, it's too evil!"
"I have learned from the best!"
Rizevim failed to wake at the next daybreak.
