AAAAHHHHH!!!! A painful scream rang throughout the subspace. Sending chills down the spins of everyone who heard it.
"How do we help him? He's been like this for a week." In a luxurious living room, a beautiful woman had a concerned expression. Along with her sat 3 men of various ages. "Just hearing his screams is driving me insane. I can't imagine what he is going through."
"The only thing we can do is wait. At the very least the seal in my body is as bright as ever so his life is not in danger." The oldest looking man, who was naturally Yogan, spoke. "Mine is a little more in depth than yours, at first it was a shackle but now I can't imagine how we would feel if we didn't have at least this little bit of information."
"What about the woman that big brother brought in. She must know something." James suggested.
"I don't know, based on how she entered I don't think we can trust her. When we enter it's like a stroll, but for her she was practically thrown in. Plus, she came in with all those ants and mana crystals, maybe big brother has other plans for her." said Jason. Since he woke up, he had become much more outgoing and talkative. He went from looking sickly and frail to rather robust, though compared to Yogan, James or Ray he leaned to the athletic side.
"I'll go talk to her. She was injured at first, but she is healed now. Plus, I have the second highest authority in the subspace so she couldn't do anything to me even if she tried." After making her decision Laura walked to the room that the mysterious woman was held in.
Without knocking, Laura barged into a room on the far left of the mansion.
Sitting on a chair while brushing her hair, the mysterious woman spoke without looking back. "You know at first, I was mad at how I was forced into here, but after a few days I got over it. Not only do I have some of the best food that I have ever tasted, but the mana in here is so dense that I can feel myself becoming stronger with every breath. Even this room is much more luxurious that I have ever been in, not even the best hotels in the capital could compare to this."
Even though Laura and the others were not sure of who she was or why she was here, since Ray was the one to bring her here, they naturally treated her like a guest.
"Look woman…."
"My name is Sasha."
"And I don't care. Since bringing you here, Ray has been in pain, I know you can hear it. As far as I can tell you are the reason, so I am asking you what happened."
"And who is he to you? Your boyfriend, your husband? Ohhhh… Are those 3 kids his? He seems kinda young to be having children, but if you are his partner then I can't criticize."
Laura was instantly stunned by her response. This was the first thing that Sasha had said since entering the subspace and Laura was expecting her to deny having anything to do with it.
"Wh..Wha.. What are you talking about? There is nothing like that going on between me and Ray!" She yelled while blushing.
"Oh? Then the kids are not his? Though from what I can see, you wouldn't mind if that were the case, hmmm?" As Sasha pushed more on what seemed to be a weak point, her eyes once again started to glow.
But contrary to last time, Ray's talent was ready for it, and as Laura had a contract with Ray, so was she.
With her pupils glowing golden, Laura was unaffected by her brainwashing, even though she didn't know it was happening. "Don't change the subject. I have the most authority in this realm and I can crush you with a moment's notice. So answer the question and don't try to lie to me, otherwise you will become fertilizer."
'That fucking light again! First the boy and now her. I can't figure anything out with it interfering with my divine sense! How could it possibly block my clan's secret art so easily, it should work and any one below the supremacy realm.'
"Answer!" Laura demanded, with a powerful aura pressing down on Sasha.
This was her beast might, and unlike her beast pressure that wouldn't have any effects on Sasha as she was human, it was coming down on her hard. Normally, beast might wouldn't have this big of an effect on a human as powerful as Sasha, especially since Laura only just became a practitioner, but with the backing of the entire subspace behind her Laura could easily trump her.
Even though she was under immense pressure, Sasha kept her head up high. She did answer however, as she could easily be squashed by Laura. Since Ray has been in the astral plane for so long, his body had become accustomed to it; through him the laws of the sub-space, though immature, became extremely powerful.
Not only that, but as a world in and of itself, it becomes stronger the more beings that are in it. This is why Ray has an urge to increase the population of the subspace, even though he has no idea why he wants to do so. As the creator and first lord of this minor world, he subconsciously wants to increase its strength and lead it to evolution.
Along with the incredibly dense mana, to the point where it forms clouds and sometimes even rains, and condensed size, the subspace is a world on par with any section of the astral plane, even though no one, including Ray, has any knowledge of this.
Even though Laura could only tap into less than half a percent of this limitless power, it is more than enough to make it so that Sasha couldn't fight back.
"Fine, I will answer your questions. Treat it as payment for the food and housing."
"Then follow me." Laura said as she walked out of the room.
With Sasha following her Laura gathered the others in the living room where they questioned her.
"What is your name?" James started.
"Sasha Rain."
"How did you get here?"
"That boy forced me in here, quite rudely I might add."
"And why did Ray do so?" He continued, not perturbed by her little addition.
Naturally, Sasha hesitated to answer as she was by all accounts wrong. There is no way of saying 'I tried to brainwash him after he saved me from hundreds of thousands of years of torment out of the goodness of his heart.' and make it sound good.
Even she had to admit that if someone was so ungrateful to her, she would have killed them in an instant, even if they had a reason for doing so. She had her reasons, mainly a lack of trust after being betrayed, but Ray had no obligation to care.
She could tell that everyone here cared deeply about Ray, so telling the truth would not be a good option. It was, however, her only option.
"Before I answer your question, I have to tell you a story."
