Chapter 16 - Meeting Bob

When Gwyn rushed back to the villa, he saw Mary throwing the biscuit box into the trash can, but he didn't see Julie.

As soon as Julie arrived at the villa, Tracey had already called Gwyn.

In Tracey's heart, Mary was a traitor. She betrayed the Miller family and was not worthy of Gwyn's kindness to her.

Julie was also not a good person. Every time she came, she would stir up an argument between Mary and Gwyn. This time, Julie would definitely be up to no good.

Tracey called Gwyn back just to let him see the woman's true colors, but she didn't expect Julie to be sent away by Mary after sitting for a while.

"Why are you back?" Mary was a little confused when she saw Gwyn panting. "Don't you have work today?"

"Oh yes," said Gwyn, forcing a calm look. No, I forgot an important document. I came back to get it."

Seeing his expression, Mary could guess what he was thinking. He probably came back to 'catch her in the act'.

Mary smiled and said nothing more. Gwyn also pretended to go to the study room and took out a document bag.

"Leave this to me next time. I'll send it to the company for you." Mary said.

Gwyn was stunned. Mary had never wanted to publicize their relationship and had never gone to his company. This time, she actually took the initiative to say that she wanted to go to the company?

Gwyn narrowed her eyes. Could it be that Julie had come to take Mary away again? And Mary agreed?

Mary didn't know what Gwyn was thinking and thought that he was just feeling guilty.

Thinking that Julie wanted her to release Bob, Mary said flirtatiously to Gwyn, "Can I go see Bob?"

"No!" Gwyn's overly agitated reaction startled Mary.

"I just want to take a look. I don't have the intention to…"

Without waiting for Mary to finish explaining, Gwyn immediately refused, "That's impossible. This time, the car accident between you and Mom is also related to him. I definitely can't let him off. I will never let you meet him again."

Seeing how agitated Gwyn was, Mary knew that he had misunderstood, so she comforted him, "I'm not going to save him. You know I have a subordinate, Ford, right? He has a grudge against Bob. Since he's my subordinate, I think I have to help him take revenge."

Of course, Gwyn knew about Ford and also roughly understood the grudge between Ford and Bob. But looking at Mary's pleading face, he couldn't be sure what Mary's true thoughts were.

Even if Mary had indeed changed recently, could a person really change out of the blue?

Seeing Gwyn's uncertain expression, Mary said coquettishly, "Darling, just let me go. At most, I won't meet him, okay?"

Gwyn lowered her head to look at her delicate little face. In the end, he gave up and nodded helplessly.

Splash!

Bob was awakened by the water splashing on him, and salt had been added to the water, causing him to be in so much pain that he could not even pass out.

All the whip marks on Bob's body were covered with gauze, which absorbed the salt under the action of the salt water, causing Bob to grimace in pain.

Ford in front of him, on the other hand, had a calm expression on his face with a cruel smile at the corner of his mouth.

"When I get out, I definitely won't let you off." Bob's voice was hoarse as he stared at Ford.

He had recognized Ford a long time ago. Ford's sister had been gang-raped by him and a few of his friends, and Ford had caused trouble for him more than once.

Although Bob was only the illegitimate son of the Wilson family, it was still easy to deal with a foreigner like Ford who had no background. It was just that he did not expect to fall into Ford's hands now.

Since the hatred between the two of them could not be resolved, Bob naturally dared to say harsh words.

He was sure that Gwyn would never let anyone kill him. As long as he could get out, he would be able to turn things around.

The door of the cell was opened. Will frowned when he smelled the blood in the air. He didn't expect Mary's subordinate to be even more ruthless than them.

He walked to Ford's side and lowered his head to say something. Ford finally got up and prepared to leave.

When he left, Ford did not forget to tear off a piece of gauze from Bob's body. The dungeon was immediately filled with Bob's screams.

As soon as Ford walked out of the dungeon, he saw Dole chattering around Mary in the hall.

"Madam, if you hadn't come, I really don't know what they would have done to me!" Dole complained.

In fact, Dole wasn't detained. He just couldn't leave the villa for the time being, but he still wanted to gain more sympathy from Mary.

Seeing his benefactor again, Ford felt an indescribable gratitude in his heart.

"Madam," he called out softly.
