Xia Pengpeng watched Baby Mu's reaction and noticed it wasn't as fearful of strangers as she had expected, which slowly eased her anxious heart.
She didn't speak but allowed the unfamiliar young lady to continue interacting with Baby Mu.
"How about I give this balloon to you? There's also a card here that lets you ride the carousel once on the fifth floor's amusement park."
Baby Mu timidly accepted the young lady's balloon and card.
"Baby Mu, you should say thank you," Xia Pengpeng softly coaxed.
Baby Mu's smile immediately froze, too scared to speak.
He still couldn't overcome that barrier in his heart.
The young lady patted Baby Mu's head, "It's okay, but you have to be brave, okay?"
Baby Mu stayed silent, clinging tightly to Xia Pengpeng's side.
"Feel free to bring the baby to the amusement park upstairs to play," said the young lady as she stood up to Xia Pengpeng.
