"Morning," Mu Xingye responded in a muted voice.
Xia Pengpeng remained silent, quietly eating her breakfast.
"I'll take you to school."
Xia Pengpeng lifted her head, looked at him for a few seconds, then nodded.
"Still angry?"
"No," Xia Pengpeng denied outright.
From her tone, she really didn't seem angry at all.
But Mu Xingye didn't believe she wasn't angry.
"I'm finished eating. I'll wait for you in the living room," Xia Pengpeng said politely, making her way to the living room.
Mu Xingye looked at the food in front of him and suddenly lost all appetite.
Housekeeper Du watched the two of them with a headache brewing early in the morning.
He had thought since Madam had taken the initiative to greet Young Master Mu, they had already made up. But it seemed the situation had worsened.
On the way to school, Xia Pengpeng didn't say a word.
Ah Chi upfront felt like he was suffocating!
"Can you manage the food at school at noon?" Mu Xingye asked proactively.
"I can manage."
