Emory had positioned herself at the far end of the ballroom, away from the doors and halls into the rest of the castle.
There, massive windows climbed two or three stories in height, overlooking the terrace outside and gardens below.
There were a lot of plants in pots under the windows, then tables holding food and drinks.
Most of the crowds gathered along the inside of the tables, between the refreshment and the dancefloor. So from this position, Emory could see the vast majority of those in attendance.
I wondered if the position was just coincidence, and suspected it wasn't.
