The gleam in Zara's eyes and the sultry tone she gave it left no question what she really meant and my body leaped to respond.
Stark cursed again and if I hadn't been fighting my body for control so that I wouldn't scandalize the entirety of the Arinel Court, I would have laughed.
As it was, I cleared my throat and took her hand once more, bending over it, tapping my first two fingers at the center of her palm underneath and opening my mouth on her knuckles, letting my tongue flick against her creamy skin so that her grip twitched, before I straightened and bid them both goodbye because if I didn't I was going to throw her over my shoulder and carry her from the room.
"Well, fuck," Stark growled as we strolled across the room. "You're insane if you think no one noticed that."
