Reluctantly I nodded. "I won't tell her about Erik, yet." When Stark took a breath in relief, I caught his eye. "I do not promise that I will wait until our marriage. I will wait until I'm certain it is unavoidable for the health of our lives and our Kingdom. But I will not place a boundary on that."
Stark's lips thinned, but I turned back to my brother, my hands closing tight because they wanted to close on his throat. "You have to tell me everything that happened, everything you said so that I know what she's referring to when we speak of it," I said through my teeth.
My brother should never have touched her. He should not know the taste of her lips, her sweet breath.
