"Father! What is going on? Father?! Are you here?"
A door burst open, followed by a voice thick with worry. In the quiet guest rooms, David and the two girls were jerked from their slumber by the commotion, their eyes snapping open in unison, alert and wary, knowing it could only be one person.
"Lioz, I'm here! Don't worry, I'm safe, three of your fellow disciples were here and saved me and the village," Lior shouted back as he left his room and went to meet with his son. He looked at the closed doors of his guests and sighed, unsure if he should bother them or not.
"Father!"
Lioz, in a blur left by a sword movement technique, reappeared at his father's side, inspecting him carefully. Out of respect, he did not use his spiritual and mental powers to scan his father. Their green eyes met one another, and they both quickly learned the other was safe.
