"Big Brother, a caravan is approaching!"
A group of forty men hid among the trees accompanying the road on its two sides. They were all standing or sitting on the wide branches, and one man, the one who just shouted, held cheap first-rank binoculars in his hand that hardly improved his sight marginally.
"Boy, prepare for the raid!" The one called Big Brother yelled. "Three minutes until engagement!"
They took their positions and brandished their weapons. "Jump!" An order came and the men obeyed. Crouching for the right moment, they all leaped to the ground, surrounding the caravan from all directions. Now, even if they wanted to, the merchants would be unable to escape in the way they came from.
"Get out of the carriages and surrender, otherwise you will all be dead!"
