Tobias instructed the team as Bryce, the formation master, carelessly entered one of the rooms. They knew what to expect; the first room they cleared on that floor was the same as the rooms on the floors above. The few blood monsters as they called them, were all equal to cultivators in the high Core Formation Stage.

An explosion echoed in the room, and Bryce was sent outside flying with wounds and burns all over. The other 5 in the group took a fighting stance and prepared to fight whatever caused it, but nothing came out of the room.
"Bryce? What happened there?"
"There was a trap. As soon as I entered, I stepped on a fourth-grade Explosion Talisman, and it got triggered from the touch."
