At 4 pm, Abbie no longer had a fever but she looked very weak and getting paler and couldn't even lift her head again. However, the woman tries to look okay, because she doesn't want to spoil Bill, Steffi, and Liam's happy moments.
"Do you want something to eat?" Bill asked.
Abbie just shook her head. "I don't want anything..."
"But you haven't eaten since earlier," Bill said worriedly, stroking Abbie's hair and looking up at her increasingly pale face with glazed eyes.
Abbie took a deep breath, then glanced at Steffi who was sitting on the sofa with George and Liam.
"Seeing you guys together, it makes me very relieved... I don't feel hungry at all," she said with a faint smile.
"But you have to keep eating, you need energy," Bill replied gently.
Abbie glanced at Bill again. .she looked at the man, so handsome, perfect, but not hers. Instantly she remembered the moments when they were still together as lovers.
