Chapter 4 - [004] Progression

Morpheus spent years observing the evolution of Aria. He watched as the various species he created slowly evolved and adapted to their environments. Over time, he realized that he could earn creation points naturally.

"If I just wait long enough, my creation points will recover naturally," Morpheus thought to himself. "But that could take centuries or even millennia. There must be a faster way."

As he pondered this, Morpheus remembered the information he had received about earning creation points through the planet undergoing qualitative changes or through the achievements of his creations.

Morpheus thought back to the various species he had created on Aria. He checked the records and was pleased to see that the planet had a diverse range of life forms. From the majestic giants of the forest to the tiny insects that lived in the shadows, Aria was teeming with life.

As he delved deeper into the records, he was amazed to see that Aria was already billions of years old, far older than he had realized. He marveled at the intricate web of life that had formed over the eons, and he felt a sense of pride in the world he had created.

Morpheus also took note of the current situation of Aria. The planet had millions of inhabitants across its various continents and oceans. There were hundreds of different species, each with their unique characteristics and abilities.

"I must be careful not to interfere too much," Morpheus said to himself. "I don't want to disrupt the delicate balance of this world. But I must also guide it towards greater heights."

He then checked his creation points, and to his surprise, he had already gained a few naturally over the years. He calculated that if he were to sleep for a couple of centuries or more, he could earn a significant amount of creation points.

"But I can't just wait for that," he said, shaking his head. "I must continue to create and innovate, to guide my creations towards greater achievements."

"Remarkable," he muttered to himself as he watched a group of ape-like creatures fashioning crude tools out of rocks. "These creatures have come a long way since the beginning."

he brought up the MAAS interface and accessed the section that displayed the various achievements of the planet's inhabitants.

As the holographic screen flickered to life, he saw a list of accomplishments scrolling down. He watched with fascination as the primitive lifeforms on the planet made significant strides in their evolution. The first achievement was the discovery of fire. He watched as a group of early hominids huddled around a flickering flame, their faces illuminated by the orange glow.

Next on the list was the invention of the wheel. He saw a group of nomadic hunters dragging a slain beast behind them using a wooden cart with two round wheels. The invention of the wheel was a significant achievement, as it paved the way for faster transportation and more efficient farming techniques.

Other achievements on the list included the discovery of agriculture, the development of written language, and the construction of the first permanent settlements. Each achievement was accompanied by a corresponding number of creation points that Morpheus had earned. He smiled as he watched the points tally up on the screen, his total now standing at 3,500.

Morpheus couldn't help but feel proud of the lifeforms on Aria. He had created them from scratch and watched them evolve over time, and each achievement was a testament to their resilience and ingenuity. He sat there for hours, watching the achievements scroll by, lost in thought and wonder.

Morpheus had spent a long time pondering over the many options available in the Divine Emporium, carefully considering each item and its potential impact on the evolution of his planet. He had made small purchases here and there, but now he had finally saved up enough creation points to make a significant investment in the future of Planet Aria.

He accessed the Divine Emporium through the MAAS and began to scroll through the various categories, looking for the items that would best aid in the growth and development of his planet. He selected the "Planet Enhancement" category and immediately saw a wide range of options available to him.

After much deliberation, Morpheus made his choice. He selected the "Enhanced Atmosphere" package, which promised to improve the overall climate and air quality of the planet. The cost was steep, but he knew that it would be worth it in the long run.

He also purchased the "Advanced Geological Systems" package, which would help to stabilize the tectonic plates and reduce the frequency and intensity of natural disasters such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.

Morpheus was pleased with his choices, but he knew that there was still more work to be done. He decided to invest in the "Planetary Defense" category, purchasing several advanced weapons systems that would help protect the planet from potential threats.

Finally, he made a small investment in the "Communication Networks" category, which would help to improve the overall communication and coordination of the planet's inhabitants.

As he completed his purchases, Morpheus couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. He had invested in the future of his planet, and he knew that these enhancements would make a significant difference in the lives of all who called Aria home.

After spending all of his accumulated creation points, Morpheus checked his balance. He had only 500 creation points remaining, but he knew that he would be able to earn more through the achievements of his creations and the natural evolution of the planet itself.

With a sense of satisfaction and anticipation, Morpheus closed the MAAS and turned his attention back to Planet Aria, eager to see the impact that his investments would have on its growth and development.

And before morpheus would go into slumber again he took one good look of this planet's current state.
