Chapter 14 - No 14

Hmm...

Is this one crazy? Did something happen to her brain?

The first instinct of any living being is to survive, but strangely, this one wants to die. And with a burning passion is even demanding I kill her here and now.

Looking at her body, scarred and burned it looks like she lived a hard life and now this is her breaking point. My question, however, is how did she get into this situation?

The elven society is very similar to a communist one. So I don't see how she was neglected so much that she reached a mental breaking point.

But, this is not bad either. No attachments to this world, no attachment to this society. The perfect candidate for an assistant.

I lifted my hand and covered her face with my palm. At that moment, millions of tiny needles extended from my palm and went through her skin, and started injecting a neurotoxin into her whole body.

Even though she was paralyzed her body was still shivering from the amount of torture she was in.

After 1 minute I lifted my hand and looked at the ragdoll on the ground. Despite the amount of physical and mental torture, I put her in she still managed to remain conscious.

This is a very good level of mental fortitude.

Seeing that it was time to go to the next camp I picked the woman and carried her to a safe place I build on the moment. After a certain level of ES that individual would be able to not only destroy but also create things. I am at the level where I could only create simple constructions, like a medium-sized house.

This process was called synthetisation.

...

In 2 days everyone was done with the mission and we went back to the clan. The report was to be done by every individual and the leader clearly stated he wanted all the details.

Afterward, we were given the reward: a pouch full of gold coins.

Those coins are used as a universal currency and one could buy a wide variety of things with them. It is said that a god from the upper levels is responsible for making them. So counterfeiting them was nearly impossible.

I went to my room and in 2 hours I packed everything necessary for my 1-month expedition. I went to the section of the clan that was responsible for the management of people and signed a document regarding my expedition.

...

High in the sky, above the clouds, floated a black dot. After getting close one could identify that the flying thing was a metal contraption similar looking to a dragon.

It had wide winds with a long, metallic body. With a black color covering its entire surface, the object looked out of place at these times.

Inside the black machinery were a man and a sleeping woman.

"This took a while but I managed to replicate a cargo plane from the Earth."

Even though I didn't understand the technology, I didn't need to. Using magic I created a new flying system that is based on arrays. Replacing big and bulky engines with small, compact cubes that contained hundreds of intertwined arrays.

Using a rechargeable battery that used the energy in the world for fuel this plane would be able to crouse forever and fly at high speeds for months.

Unfortunately, I could not replicate the hyperdrive system since I needed a lot more mastery in the array section.

But that is not a problem yet. Now, I would need to replicate the war weapons that were used back in my world.

A thermonuclear bomb would be too primitive so I think going with an antimatter missile would be a greater choice. For that creating a laboratory would be a must. And a plane is not fit for that job.

Judging from the size of this dimension I think a space station would be a better idea. I could make it high enough to not be reached by any normal being. As for other powerhouses, I could simply make some clones and place them randomly around the world.

Stacking them with nuclear warheads and detonating them when an enemy is in close proximity. I remember that back in my world humans used to make these as strong as to affect the whole earth.

However, later on, it was confirmed that, after the release of new technology, the nukes could be improved on, and later, at an event, a warhead that could pulverize a whole planet was shown. That was only a small, 10-meter one.

So I think I'm going to put some star killer ones in each decoy station and maybe bait some dumbasses to come and kill themselves. Or, even better, maybe carry them home.

Judging by the power alone, only an above 20 000 ES would be able to even survive an explosion. The blast radius alone would wipe 100% of the living beings and create huge holes in the ground.

...

Inside a white room with barely any decoration lay a woman sleeping. Her appearance was covered by a white veil covering her whole body. The room was extremely silent and any sound would be filtered by the multitude of soundproofing arrays. Some arrays were used to filter the air while some cleaned the room of dust and any residual things.

Suddenly she opened her eyes. Slowly she sat up and looked around. A white room with a table and a bookshelf. There were no lamps nor candles but as soon as she woke up the light turned on.

She didn't know where this place was. Initially, she thought death finally came but then remembered the man from before. Carrying her and talking about how she will become his assistant.

There were a lot of questions she wanted to ask the man. Why did he leave her alive? Why was she becoming his assistant?

All of this made her question reality and why did things go as they did? She was soo deep in her head that she didn't notice the man that entered the room and was sitting in front of her.

-So this is how you used to look like.

With an intrigued voice the man expressed his curiosity.

Only then did she notice his presence and immediately looked ahead.
