Chapter 6 - THE HOSPITAL IS MINE

Chapter 6

Intro:

As planned earlier, Barbara needed to go to the hospital. her situation got worse but she kept everything within. the fear in her covered her pains and injury but terry cared much about that. her critical condition was clearly unbearable as she hardly slept that night.

Terry had peeked at her doorpost that night and heard her cry, the sounds were indifferent from people he has ever hurt. he could decipher emotional pain and physical pain. here she was enduring both. when he woke up early morning to go for his jogging, he still heard the same cry. there was the need for him to assign a servant to take the poor girl, barbara to the hospital for better treatment and scans.

Terry's Pov:

'Why do I keep thinking about this poor girl!?' I blamed myself for the current mental stress I'd been through for the past hours. I know I needed to take her to the hospital but I let Lilly do that, not me.

"Master! Devil! Master!!" a female voice echoed running through my door. Who the heck mixes my names and titles?

'You again!? Now tell me my breakfast is ready and let me punish you.' I spewed out my anger as I walked toward my closet to fetch my gun. I did not know why, but I was just going for my gun. She just stood there holding my door handle outside.

"It's the lady you brought home, she can't..." Before she ended her statement, she found herself resting on the floor calmly. As soon as I run past her; I jumped from my floor to the ground floor and landed right in front of the room where Barbara was. My study room was just ten feet above her room.

"Let's take her to the hospital as soon as possible. I don't have the required tools and drugs to treat her here. Her situation is very critical. It could be detrimental to her life as we speak. I'm afraid we might lose her..." Tracy cried checking her pulse.

I did not give any reply. She was fucken commanding and I wanted to walk out but I did not allow myself to fancy my pride. I carried her in my arms again just as I brought her home. The only difference was that she was very clean. Her glowing and beautiful face could be vividly seen. Her red cute lips were slightly open and I felt closing them with my mouth. For some moments, I stood there praising and admiring her precious beauty.

"This way, Master." Tracy led the way while I came back to my senses and followed her.

"Let's take her, please." Aaron offered, but I refused. I know he was healing from the gunshot and wasn't much better.

Before I reached the car, Aaron was there again and ready to drive. How did this dude get here so fast!? I didn't care about that this. I sat in the whip and Aaron sped off.

'This car is way faster than an ambulance! Drive faster, man!'

She never made any sign of being alive. I was afraid she was dead. I frankly didn't want her to die now or then. I touched her face and felt some moisture. That gave me one percent hope. Soon, we reached the hospital. Nurses and doctors run to attend to me.

'Now, I feel my pride again.' I boasted but that wasn't necessary.

I sat at one office which Dr. Donal Gregory had offered me. I was just a simple but dangerous Mafia. That made me different from others.

"Hey, buddy, go get yourself some treatment." I requested but Aaron wasn't ready.

"Master, you have a call."

I took the phone and cut the call without saying a word. The next thing I wanted to hear was 'She's fine, not this.' I said to my bodyguard. He picked up the phone and put it back in his pocket. I knew these dudes would just demand the girl if I had talked to them.

"Master, you would need to talk to them. It's important."

Soon, the phone call came again.

"Hello master, I suspect these three men driving into the hospital. I've met one of them at the Brazilian warehouse some time ago." It was the hospital's security. I had spies everywhere across my hood. Before you would get to me, I had already prepared enough for you.

"Take care of them silently as usual," I whispered and hung the call.

"How is she doing!?" I eagerly asked immediately Dr. Donald entered.

"Err...mmm..." he murmured and adjusted his transparent glasses.

'Should I force you to speak!??' I roared and hit my hands on his table. Seeing how serious I was, he took a step back. 'I don't hit my doctors, Donald. Just answer me. Now, how is she!?'

"We are trying our best, please. Give us some ample time. For now, I can not conclude her state." He finally to me something stupid. The most stupid words I have ever heard. He made me boil, I just wished I could hit his glasses to hurt his left eye. I wished I could hit his head against the table. I just wished I could do what would make me fine but I had to control myself.

"Go there and make sure she's fine before you get back here, please." Aaron saved the Doctor from my intentions.

Unable to control myself, I went to her ward wanting to know her condition for myself.

Barbara's POV:

I woke inside a room where men and women had gathered around me. All of them were in white robes, for some time, I thought I was in heaven, and on the other hand, I thought I was in a hospital. 'Their white robes, no this is a lab coat. They are so bright!' I thought. The lights were so bright that, I couldn't watch the ceiling. I lay down and kept tilting my neck. "Wait, some pains are gone!"

"Hold on, you need enough rest, Miss." A nurse push me gently by my chest when I was tempted to sit down. My left arm was covered with POP and adjusted to my neck with an arm-shoulder sling. My right ankle was also bandaged in POP. These doctors just didn't want me to hover around. My arm I used for begging and my leg I used for walking! Maybe these people would feed me for the rest of my life.

In an hour, after I had finished eating. They made me sit on my bed. Everyone rushed out.

"Are you all leaving me alone??" I asked desperately and held the hand of the nurse who had fed me.

"No dear, you have a visitor. I will be back for you, trust me." She said into my ears and patted my back.

As soon as she faded out, I saw a figure enter. I could not identify the person from that end but it was closer. Maybe, I was beginning to have a vision impairment or the tears covered my eyes. When he came closer, I figured it was Aaron.

"Here, Master said I should give you this." He handed me a bouquet; of the most beautiful flowers I'd ever seen. I was afraid but took it with my right hand. It smelled very great and pleasant. 'My killer had sent a bouquet, does that mean he won't kill me?' No, I remember him wiping my face while I lay my head on his chest in the car. Yes! He actually brought me here. I could only open my eyes in the car at that moment, everything else, I could not remember anymore.

"Where is..."

"He attended to some important." He interrupted my question sharply while he stood still without fidgeting. There were empty chairs but he refused to sit down. His shirt, pants, and boots were all black just like the soul of his master and himself, so dark!

"By the way, I am not asking for your master's whereabouts, I mean where is my nurse, Tracy Nicole?" I boldly asked again and gave him an unusual face. I acted like a hard girl but deep down, I knew I was afraid of him.

"I don't know." He replied without even looking in my direction. He was so straightforward. He kept both hands at his back.

'Should I reach out for his gun?' My soul suggested at the back of my ear. 'What if I fail?' I laughed out loud. He just turned and looked at me. I didn't even know how my laughter forced itself out without permission. Aaron was just surprised and still looked at my face. He maintained his dark face and didn't laugh back at me.

I was not surprised about that. I did all I could to make him go out or sit down but Aaron stood his ground.

"My Master will be here any moment from now, Mistress." He foretold me. Perhaps, he was just scaring me or shutting my mouth up but I would not stop. He just called me mistress.

"She is not your Mistress, Aaron." De Devil rebated while he walked inside and banged the door behind him. I felt like throwing the flowers on the ground but I was afraid about what would happen next. He was not joking when he said De Devil would be here. He was very particular about it.

"How are you doing, poor thing?" He inquired.
