As the night turned to day and the air was filled with the smell of gunpowder, Shinon woke up. He was still tired afterr yesterday's shenanigans, but like Miro instructed, he didn't want to act suspiciously.
That meant he had to sacrifice his sleep, get up like the rest of the workers, and get to work. But as he did, his talk with Miro last night stuck to him.
He was still having a tough time believing that his father was alive and in the very same city that he was. Still, the distance they shared wasn't something he could easily conquer.
After all, Caleb was the most important man in the city, and there was no way someone like Shinon would even get an opportunity to meet him face-to-face. The Eclipse would make sure of it.
