"Selena, stay behind me and just focus on taking out its remaining eye," Shinon mumbled as he turned to focus on the treant. "I'll take care of it on my own."
"You got it," Selena said and rushed to the side, ready to take the shot.
Without a moment's hesitation, Shinon dashed forward, the enhanced muscles adding to his agility. But the treant wasn't done yet.
The monster brought its arms down onto the forest floor, but Shinon was more than prepared. He slid between the monster's legs, narrowly avoiding the earth-shaking stomps.
As he emerged from the other side, he spun with uncanny swiftness and plunged his shadow weapons into the treant's knees. The treant let out a tremendous roar, its once dominant form now reduced to its knees.
The ground trembled as the creature struggled to maintain its balance, its towering figure to the knees as the creature's legs gave away.
