As Shinon and the two guards made their way back to the temporary camp, their footsteps blending with the rustling of leaves, curiosity brimmed within the guards. They couldn't help but voice their musings to Shinon, hoping for a hint of insight.
"Hey, Shinon," one of the guards began, his voice laced with curiosity. "We couldn't help but notice how Madam Lova treated you back there."
The second guard intervened, "It's not often we see her behave so politely towards someone... Is there something special going on between you two? You don't need to answer if you don't want to!"
Shinon's eyes flickered with a mixture of surprise and bewilderment. He hadn't anticipated such a question, and for a moment, he hesitated, searching for the proper response. However, a part of him was equally perplexed by the recent turn of events concerning Lova's behaviour.
"Keep your focus on the task at hand," Shinon replied curtly, his voice tinged with annoyance.
