Ace walked through his forest, enjoying the nature scene.
The sun was shining down, there was a gentle breeze, and the plant's leaves were all a good shade of bright green.
Addition to the feeling of the grass and earth underneath Ace's bare feet.
When it comes to drus and dryads, nature and the environment are very important to them. It brightens their day to see that everything around them is in good condition.
As Ace walked through more of his forest, he suddenly heard a sound.
He looked left, then right, but he didn't see anything.
He heard the sound again.
He then looked up. In an oak tree, he saw that there was a pair of squirrels eating some acorns.
"How did you two get in here?" Ace asked.
There wasn't meant to be any way for anyone or anything to get in or out of the forest.
Ace had gotten a strange feeling. He walked in a certain direction. He didn't stop until he made it to the edge of the forest. When he made it there, he looked and saw that there was a small hole that was dug through just between where two of the trees that barricaded the forest were.
It was too small for any big animals or people, but it was the correct size for two squirrels to go through.
Ace then thought about something.
Looking back at it, the forest felt like it needed something.
This reminded him that it felt empty in the forest. There was plant life as far as the eye could see, but there wasn't any wildlife to share it with.
What was a forest without some animals in it?
Ace supposed he could let some animals inside, but what if a human saw the gap in the trees and made their way in?
It was risky, but the forest needed some more life other than some plant life. Otherwise, it would just be a large garden.
Ace then thought out loud, "Well, the people of Dormeadow don't show up here anymore. Maybe no one will come around."
With that in mind, Ace made a slightly bigger gap in the trees so that some more animals could come inside.
It then occurred to him that, he had to expand and improve his forest in order to make it animal friendly.
Ace raised his hands and the ground started to shake.
That was because he was making the large tree barrier around the forest expand. The size of the forest increased, and because of the larger scale, the trees inside the forest had all spaced out, making the forest look and feel more spacious.
Now that size of the forest had grown, Ace had set off to see what was new, and he could improve for any potential wildlife.
After continued on his walk in his now-bigger forest for a while, he felt that the ground underneath his bare feet felt different.
The ground strangely felt damp.
He looked ahead a bit and saw the cause of the damp ground.
There was a ditch that had almost all of its water drained out of it. His eyes followed the direction of the ditch to the left. A distance away, he saw that it led to a very large hole in the ground.
It didn't take long for Ace to figure out that the hole was supposed to be a lake, and the ditch was meant to be a stream.
The lake was dried up, and no water was coming from or going to it.
Ace thought that this could be easily fixed. He just needed to let the water pass towards the lake, and the water would flow through the stream.
Using his biocommunication, Ace used the plants that went along the river beyond the lake, and felt around to figure out what was blocking the water to the lake. He then figured out that in the river that there was some water that flowed from some far away mountains towards his expanded forest, but there were some rocks that blocked the water.
Ace then manipulated the plants to moved the rocks out of the river.
Afterwards, he felt the water rushing its way into his forest, and into the lake.
After the lake had filled up, the stream that Ace was standing next to filled up with water.
After seeing the stream full of rushing water, he left with a smile to see what else he could improve in his forest.
The lake was the first new addition to his forest, there was also something else that was new.
There was a new cave that led underground. That could be useful for any animals that live in the dark. Ace only made some vines and flowers grow around the mouth of the cave.
Afterwards, he manipulated the roots of some of the plants to burrow some more streams for the lake's water to go through, so the water could go out to the rest of the forest instead of in one direction.
The last thing he did was create at least five more small openings in the trees surrounding the forest. More openings would mean more opportunities for animals to come in.
It would take some time, but soon, his forest would actually feel like a forest. In time it would have wildlife, plants, and fresh water Like any forest should.
Although, it would take a while before any wildlife would come in, so he made his way to his tree in the middle of the forest for a rest.
Along the way, he made some trees and bushes that provided wild fruit and berries grow.
When he reached his tree, the bark had opened up, and he went inside and closed his eyes with a smile as the bark of the tree closed itself again.
Ace was happy with what he accomplished today. He couldn't wait to see what was to come when he woke up.
