Volume 1 Chapter 26: Battle With The Snakes
It seems luck was with Carmilla, Clone 1, and Clone 2 this time since they saw a exit and when they leave the long hall they saw a opening and at the middle of it there is 5 snakes sleeping on the ground and it seem that one of the snake was not deeply asleep since when they entered the opening it sense them and it start watching every move them, it start making a 'hissing' sound and the other snakes who was sleeping heard the 'hissing' sound made by the other snake. So while Carmilla, Clone 1, and Clone 2 was looking around the opening they did not notice the snakes since the [Night Vision] Skill only have 6 meters of range and the snake was more than 6 meters away but they also heard a 'hissing' sound and they know that kind of animal can make that kind of sound so the three of them became alert instantly.

Clone 1: Master there must be a snake living here
Clone 2: What's our plan master
Carmilla: Be alert we don't know when the snake will attack us and we also don't know how many snakes live in here
After I said that I start using blood magic to make blood dagger to cut open my wrist to make a round shield, the clones also make a blood dagger before cutting there wrist to use blood magic to control there own blood to make weapons, in this kind of situation I was hoping that I have a way to store my own blood like having buckets or glass or space magic since every time I cut open my wrist it still hurt even if the game have already reduce the pain.
The glow of the crimson magic circles of the 3 spell make the cave lit up for a bit, but that was enough to see the five snakes who was looking at them while 'hissing' and that's when the snakes start crawling toward them with fast speed but it was not only the snakes that take advantage of the moment when the magic circles lit up the cave so did Carmilla.
When I saw the snakes, I start to use analyze to check the level of the enemy.

After seeing that name of the snake now I know why the snake crawling speed was faster than normal snakes and it seem that one of the snakes have a Mp stat so it mean it can use magic unlike the other snakes who don't have Mp stat.
Carmilla: Guys becareful the snakes we are facing is named [Fast Snake] so that means there fast and 2 of the snakes is level 2 and the other 2 is level 3 and the last one is level 4 but this snake have a Mp stats on it so it mean that it can use magic skill.
Clone 1: Roger
Clone 2: Yes, so what's are plan?
When I heard Clone 2 asking for a plan and since I don't have any plans I just reply honestly.
Carmilla: No idea
Clone 2: Were dead!
Carmilla: Why are you reacting like that, Clone 1 maybe have a plan
Clone 2: Clone 1 you have a plan right?
Clone 1: Yeah
Clone 2: Tell us quick the snakes is already coming to us
Clone 1: It's a simple plan and that's to kill those snake easy
Clone 2: That's not a plan
Carmilla: There's no more complaining the snakes have enter the [Night Vision] range
One of snakes dash towards to us and when I saw that I position the round shield directly to where the snake will land and as soon as the dashing snake land on my round shield I saw other snake dash toward me but that's when I saw a flash of red pass by and that's when I notice that the snake who was about to lunge at me was gone and when I look further I saw the arrow sticking on the ground and there's a few particles disappearing leaving a few coins that 1 out 5 snakes. I then push the snake back by swinging the shield and that's when I saw one of my clone holding a sword dash toward the snake that I just push away but I don't know which clone dash and who send the arrow since we are wearing the same clothes so I can't I identify then with out hearing them talk.
The Clone swing the sword she was holding, the snake was cut in half since it was still in the air so it was a easy target so the snake turn into particles while leaving a few brown coins wait why the heck when they got kill they leave a few coins so that means the bats have also left something behind, I should double check if there something in that room but first I should deal with the 3 snakes. I'm sure that the first 2 snake that died is both the level 2 [Fast Snake] but just to be sure I use [Analyze] and as I thought the remaining [Fast Snake] is the level 3 one and the level 4.
Carmilla: Guys the snakes we just defeated is only the level 2 [Fast Snake]
Clone 2: ohh so that's why it was so easy to kill that snake, it just died after one swing
After hearing what the clone who was holding a sword said now I know which clone who was holding a sword and who fired the arrow since Clone 1 will not said anything and will just continue what she is doing at the meantime clone 2 like to talk a lot.
The the 2 level 3 [Fast Snake] start attacking at the same time unlike the two level 2 [Fast Snake] who attack at a different time so I was easy to repel the two snakes. I change the shape of the round shield into a blood bow.
Carmilla: Clone 1 we will do the same thing we did when are fight the [Big Bat] since the snake might easily dodge us
Clone 1: Yes Master
After hearing the reply of Clone 1 I start aiming at the snake who was more ahead than the other snake and as soon as I saw a chance to hit the snake I let go of the string letting the arrow fly toward the snake, but as I thought the snake have dodge my arrow so Clone 1 send the follow up arrow, I thought that the arrow will hit the snake like how the [Big Bat] got hit, but it seems that my expectation was different than reality since the snake have not been hit by the arrow since it did not died and turn to particles and if you look closely you will see that the arrow was stuck between the body of the snake the snake must have dodge the arrow by making it own body a S shape.
