At this late hour, the sky wouldn't be so red if it was a usual day. But today, that wasn't the case.
Today, the sky bathed in blood with a crimson moon ruling the Night sky.

"Hm, Xar, more than 5 hours had passed since the Blood Moon had risen. Do you still think it will be the Divine Five that arrives, my prince?" Melissa asked.
"Do not be impatient, Mother. The Divine Five will arrive. They are just lazy bastards that always come late to everything," I replied without taking my eyes off the gorge.
'That's the mountain facing our castle, and that's probably where the Five will appear,' I thought. 'When will they arrive, though? I hope those bastards are not shameful enough to sneak attack the castle.'
That night, our forces were prepared to battle.
After my noob battle plan at the table down in the room where they did the battle strategies, Melissa improvised my plan and made some great additions to it.
The people who wouldn't be taking part were me, Kaya, and Mono because we were still mere children. Even big sister Chloe had a small part of the battle as backup. Gladly, Mother allowed me to stay with her throughout the battle. She agreed that there was no safer place than her embrace even during the battle.
Though, I only wanted to take part because I needed to be the one who beheaded Jay.
Hovering above the clouds was Aunt Crystal who was first to come down if Mother could not destroy the Divine Five alone. Or, if Mother's dragon was wounded, her duty was to heal her as fast as possible.
The Twins were frontiers of the battle who'd support Mother with everything they have. And Chloe was support. According to Mother, big sister Chloe was well trained with the broadswords.
Some more time passed without a sign of any battle in sight. The Night was silent and still. But, the ominous chill that hung in the air told me that something was coming – definitely.
"Xar –"
I shushed my mother, raising a finger.
In the distance, shadows danced across the rocky surface as small silhouettes appeared atop the mountain.
"Look again, Mother. I am true, after all," I said, smiling at Melissa.
Mother tensed up and gazed at the mountain, gripping the rail of the balcony.
Five warriors stood upon the mountain on the other side of the river, and they stood alone. With no company to fight beside them.
"So they did come along," Mother muttered, her eyes blazing up with fury. "It seems that it is high time that we taught the world a lesson about our power. They have forgotten who we once were."
I nodded at Mother and grabbed onto her hand, ready to set off to the foot of the mountain. Any moment now, the legendary battle would begin.
I feared that my life was threatened by those murderhobo Divine Five, but upon glimpsing at my Mother's crimson eyes as she stared into the distance, I felt that fear sweeping away.
"Hold on tight, little prince," Melissa turned to me with a smile.
A dark mist began to ooze out of her skin. The next moment, I was covered in darkness with the only feeling being the grasp I had on my Mother's hand.

The Divine Five marched up the mountain, climbing the rocky hill with ease.
Ever since Revlon's disappearance, Lucas the Dark Knight, the second best at fighting in the team became their leader. And – their fifth player joined the group right afterwards.
Bloodberry or the Blood Knight had dark armor with a crimson pattern of lines tattooed on it. His dark red hair reached the ground as he walked, and he was idolized by many of the girls from Earth. Though, for the Divine Five, he was just the 'new kid.'
"Maybe you should step aside and watch us play out this one," Lucas said with a smirk, looking over his shoulder at Bloodberry who was following from behind.
Bloodberry shot a sharp gaze at him upon hearing this.
"Not to worry. I know my spells. Even if this villain is a dragon as tall as a mountain, it won't be much of a problem," he replied.
Tara did not speak much with the Divine Five as she used to when Revlon was around. She simply came here to battle because she made a living streaming this game on the internet. She knew that something was up after the disappearance of Percy… he would never leave without saying goodbye.
"Ok, guys, streambot up!" Lucy said, summoning the streambot into the rocky surface. "Going live, now."
"Happy Blood Moon, lovelies!" Lucy did her usual greetings to her fans through the streambot, and so did all the other members except Tara, who simply kept walking with her eyes on the tall castle.
After all of them had done with their greetings, they finally reached the top of the mountain where they could see The Castle of the Dragons up close. It was a magnificently tall castle that seemed to touch the very sky.
Lucas stepped forth from the group and raised a sword at the top of the tower.
'I'll prove my skills to the world right here,' he said inwardly with a smirk on his lips.
A chilling breeze blew by in the cold and crimson night, blowing away Lucas's blonde hair. There was an ominous chill in that wind. It felt as if something was not entirely right.
Part of him felt as if he wasn't alone on that mountain.
Lucas's smirk suddenly faded into a frown. Whatever that chilling feeling that hung in the air around this mountain was, it felt deeply connected with him.
Suddenly, a shadowy ball of mist rose from the top of the tower and shot down to the surface of the mountain that lay on the other side. It crashed on the ground and the mist gradually faded away, revealing the face of Melissa Flamerion, the Queen of Dragons.
