As Aceto walked out of the hut, he saw Elder Mela and a villager approaching him with bags in their hands. The young man greeted him and pointed towards the direction of an ancient ruin that housed one of the nine lost artifacts of the gods. "This Chosen One is what you will use on your journey," said the villager, handing him a bag.
"..."
"I'm sure I'm going to die... that's too bad."Aceto was surprised to see what was inside the bag - a set of leather armor, a thin iron sword, and provisions that had been prepared for him for seven days. At first, he couldn't help but feel a little disappointed by the small size and modest appearance of these items. His anxiety increased as he wondered if he would be able to survive the challenges that awaited him.
However, Elder Mela spoke up and reassured him. "Don't underestimate the power of these things, kid. They might not seem very strong. But they were blessed by the gods. They will protect you and help you on your journey." Aceto looked at her in surprise and curiosity. "Blessed by the gods?" he asked.
"Yes," Elder Mela nodded. "These items were made by the ancient people who lived in this land before us. They are said to have powers beyond our comprehension."
Aceto couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder hearing her words. If what she said was true, then these items were truly priceless, and his anxiety decreased as he felt a sense of hope and determination growing within him.
"Thank you," he said, bowing to Elder Mela and the villager. "I will make the most of them."
The villagers smiled and encouraged him. "We have faith in you, chosen one. You will do great things." Aceto felt a surge of gratitude and confidence as he set out on his journey.
As he walked through the dense forest, Aceto followed the advice of the villagers and tried to stay on the path that would lead him to the Ancient Ruins. He felt both excited and nervous, wondering what kind of challenges and adventures lay ahead. He took breaks to rest and replenish his water and food supplies, which he found to be surprisingly nourishing and tasty.
While resting by a stream, Aceto took out the book about practicing magic that Elder Mela had given him. He was thrilled and intrigued by the idea of learning how to use magic. The book was filled with ancient symbols, incantations, and instructions that were hard to understand, but Aceto was determined to learn as much as he could.
He found a spell that caught his eye - a spell that could create a protective shield around him. Aceto carefully read the instructions and closed his eyes, concentrating on the spell. He imagined air bubbles forming around him, and then muttered the incantation under his breath. Suddenly, he felt a warm sensation enveloping him, and he opened his eyes to see a translucent bubble surrounding him.
Aceto smiled to himself, feeling proud of his accomplishment. He knew that there was still much to learn and practice before he could master magic, but this was a good start. He continued his journey, feeling more confident and ready to face any challenge that came his way.
Aceto continued his journey with a newfound confidence, feeling like he could take on anything that came his way. He marched forward through the dense forest, his eyes scanning the trees and his ears perked up, ready for any sign of danger. As he walked, he couldn't help but wonder what kind of artifact he was seeking and how it would change his life forever.
Suddenly, Aceto's thoughts were interrupted as he raised his hand to the sky in frustration. "What's that sound!!!" he exclaimed. Just then, he heard a rustling sound behind him, and turned around to see a large wolf-like creature staring at him with piercing eyes.
Aceto gulped as he slowly took a step back. The creature stepped forward, its sharp teeth glistening in the sunlight. "Uh, hey there, buddy," Aceto said, trying to remain calm. "I don't want any trouble."
The creature growled in response, causing Aceto to take another step back. "Hey, now, let's be reasonable," he said, his voice trembling slightly. "Maybe we can talk this out?"
But the creature wasn't interested in talking. It continued to step closer, and Aceto knew he had to act fast. Without thinking, he turned around and bolted in the opposite direction, the creature hot on his heels.
As he ran, Aceto couldn't help but think to himself, "I guess this is why they say 'be careful what you wish for'!" He had wanted a challenge, and now he had one in the form of a giant, angry wolf.
"Damn it, don't follow me!!!"
